SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM™ Resin CRS5001 Transparent is a standard flow polyetherimide copolymer (Tg 225C) with enhanced chemical resistance to strong acids, bases, aromatics, and ketones. It is ECO-compliant and has a UL94 V0 listing. An ideal alternative to polysulfone, ULTEM™ Resin CRS5001 Transparent meets the flame, smoke, and OEM toxicity requirements beneficial for aerospace interior applications such as connectors in hidden spaces. This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Using Crestomer® 1196PA gives a significantly tougher and more durable structural bond than a polyester resin/glass structure or polyester bonding adhesive. In addition, it provides significant weight savings, reduced styrene emissions, and greatly improved cosmetics with the elimination of core print-through.

Crestomer® 1150PA is a two-part, pre-accelerated, highly thixotropic structural adhesive that is based on unsaturated urethane-acrylate in styrene monomer. It is used in many structural composite applications and has excellent adhesion to FRP laminates, core materials, wood, and some metals. This product can be used for bonding diesel tanks, contour joints in FRP components, building up damaged areas, and bonding "green" FRP.
