Crestafire® P1-2002PA is a pre-accelerated thixotropic polyester resin with fire retardant properties, making it suitable for applications where fire resistance is a consideration. The product is suitable for spray and hand lamination application techniques. It requires only the addition of a catalyst to start the curing reaction.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 702PAX is a pre-accelerated orthophthalic polyester resin with low viscosity and controlled exotherm characteristics. It is designed for use in vacuum infusion processes. This product has Lloyd's approval and is suitable for use in marine, wind energy, building and construction, and transportation.

Crystic® Fireguard Gelcoat 72PAX is a new technology, spray fire retardant topcoat which is halogen free. It has low surface spread of flame compared to competitive standard technology fire retardant topcoats. This pre-accelerated filled spray topcoat can be used both internally and externally for building, transport and general industrial work.

Crystic® Isophthalic Brush Gelcoat LS 88PA is an isophthalic gelcoat. It is pre-accelerated and formulated for brush application and is recommended for use in all markets including marine, land transport and building applications. It is also suitable for general molding requirements.

Crystic® Brush Mouldguard (B) is a flexible pre-accelerated thixotropic coating material for mold protection. It has been formulated for brush application and is available in a restricted range of colors. It has been specifically developed for the protection from composite molds when put into storage or for transportation. The cured coating has been designed to give easy stripping from stored moulds prior to re-use.

Crestabond® M1-05 Structural Adhesive is a toughened, two-component 10:1 MMA structural adhesive that is designed for bonding a wide range of substrates, including metals, plastics, and composite materials in industrial applications. This adhesive demonstrates excellent impact, peel, shear, compressive strength, and fatigue resistance properties across all bonded parts. Crestabond® is a primer-less MMA adhesive requiring minimal surface preparation, which helps reduce overall production costs and increase productivity. This product has a working time of 4 to 7 minutes.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 196E is a non-accelerated, non-thixotropic, orthophthalic polyester resin for use in hot climates. It has Lloyd's approval and can be used in marine, transportation, building and construction, and industrial applications. This product is particularly suitable for filament winding and pultrusion processes.

Crestabond® M1-10 Structural Adhesive is a toughened, two-component acrylic adhesive designed for bonding composites, thermoplastics, and metals. This new generation of structural methacrylate adhesive meets the bonding requirements of most assembly operations. It demonstrates excellent impact, peel, shear, compressive strength, and fatigue resistance properties across all bonded parts.

It incorporates a selected grade of alumina trihydrate (ATH) which makes it suitable to produce laminates where excellent resin flow, fire retardancy, and low levels of smoke and toxic fumes are required. It is halogen-free and does not contain heavy metals.

Crystic® Sandable Brush Gelcoat 42PA is an orthophthalic sandable gelcoat, filled, pre accelerated and formulated for brush application. It has been specially designed for applications that are to be post-painted. This gelcoat is available in a limited range of colors.

Crestafire® GCS 1001E is a non-accelerated, low-smoke, fire retardant intumescent polyester-based gel coat designed to be applied by spray in a thin layer of 500μm. It incorporates new intumescent technology. When exposed to fire, Crestafire® GCS 1001 E forms a foamed cellular charred layer, offering a high degree of protection to the surface of the composite. It is restricted to a standard light grey color and is designed to be post-painted.

Crystic® Laminating Resin 471PALV is a pre-accelerated, low-viscosity polyester resin with rapid hardening characteristics. This laminating resin combines rapid impregnation of reinforcements and fillers with a very short mold release time and is suitable for hand-laying or spray applications. It has an 8-minute gel time, Lloyds approval, and is suitable for use in marine, transportation, building and construction, and industrial applications.

Crystic® Fire Retardant Resin U1007TPA is a filled, fire-retardant, pre-accelerated, thixotropic unsaturated polyester resin designed for RTM and RTM light. It cures with standard MEKP peroxide and has a 17-minute gel time. This product will achieve M2 to the French fire standard.

Zero Styrene Crystic® Ecogel S0PA is a zero styrene spray gelcoat for industrial applications such as the wind energy sector. This product is acetone free and can be used with Butanox® M-50. Low Styrene Crystic® Ecogel S4PA is a lower cost option, suitable for industrial applications (not Marine) where users are looking for an industrial option with low styrene content (23% styrene content). It is a high performance isophthalic gelcoat. This gelcoat is pre-accelerated and formulated for spray application.

This laminating resin has rapid wet out and low exotherm, making it ideal for multi-layer laminates in spray or hand-lay applications. It has a 16-minute gel time, Lloyd's approval, and can be used in marine, transportation, building and construction, and industrial applications.

Crystic® Transfer Moulding Resin 785PA is apre-accelerated, DCPD based, polyester resin designed for use in RTM (Resin Transfer Molding). It has a lower styrene content than conventional RTM resins and can significantly reduce the occurrence of print through, to produce moldings with an enhanced surface finish.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 397PA is a pre-accelerated isophthalic/neopentyl glycol polyester resin with a high heat deflection temperature and good water and chemical resistance. It is recommended for the fabrication of high-performance laminates for critical applications in aggressive environments. This product is suitable for contact molding and filament winding processes.

Crestapol® 1211A Urethane Acrylate Resin is a partially accelerated, filled, tough urethane acrylate resin designed for applications requiring the highest levels of fire and smoke performance. It incorporates a selected grade of alumina trihydrate (ATH), which makes it suitable for the production of laminates where excellent fire resistance and low levels of smoke and toxic fumes are required. This product is halogen-free and does not contain heavy metals.

Crystic® Low Viscosity Gelcoat 64PA is a high performance isophthalic gelcoat, pre-accelerated and formulated for brush or roller application. It is recommended for use in all markets including marine, land transport and building applications and is also suitable for general molding requirements. Crystic® Gelcoat 64PA is approved by Lloyd'™s Register of Shipping.

Crystic® Polyester Resin R115PA is a general purpose thixotropic, pre-accelerated, orthophthalic, unsaturated polyester resin. It has a 10-minute gel time and is suitable for use in buidling and construction, transportation and industrial applications by hand lay up or by spray application for the production of most glass reinforced laminates.

Crystic® Resin S15.6 is a very flexible unsaturated polyester resin based on adipic acid. It can be used alone or in conjunction with other polyester resins for the manufacturing of flexible products. Impregnating resins particularly isophtalic resins can be flexibilised by addition of Crystic® Resin S15.6 without any significant impact on the chemical resistance properties.

Crystic® Fireguard Gelcoat 70PA is our market leading halogen-free fire retardant gelcoat. It has been specifically designed for very stringent fire approvals particularly requiring low smoke characteristics. It achieves TS45545 HL2 with Crestapol 1212 and has low surface spread of flame. It can also be used with standard polyester fire retardant resins.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 272 is an isophthalic polyester resin. It is recommended for use in high-performance applications using filament winding, pultrusion, and centrifugal or contact molding processes. The fully cured laminates have high mechanical strength and excellent strength retention in wet environments at temperatures up to 60ºC.

Crystic® Orthophthalic Spray Topcoat 408PA White is a pre-accelerated flowcoat with excellent scuff resistance, designed for use in general purpose GRP moldings. It is based on a high quality orthophthalic unsaturated polyester resin and is suitable for all general molding requirements. The product is pigmented using a highly UV resistant grade of titanium dioxide.
