The VINNAPAS® eco product line stands for polymer dispersions, dispersible polymer powders and solid resins derived from renewable raw materials via the biomass balance approach. VINNAPAS® eco grades are chemically identical to the corresponding basic VINNAPAS® products. VINNAPAS® eco dispersions, dispersible polymer powders and solid resins are manufactured using the biomass balance approach. This means that fossil raw materials are entirely replaced in the supply chain by renewable raw materials that are certified as sustainable. WACKER uses bio-based acetic acid that is a byproduct of the wood-processing industry and is certified as sustainable by PEFC® (Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification). The bio-based acetic acid is introduced at the beginning of the production cycle. The biomass balance approach mathematically determines the percentage of dispersions, dispersible polymer powders and solid resins made from renewable (non-fossil) raw materials. VINNAPAS® eco grades are certified to the REDcert2 standard and audited by TÜV NORD, an independent German technical inspectorate.

When mixed with unmodified thinset, meets ANSI A118.4 standards. Packaged in convenient 1 gallon jugs and 5 gallon pails for larger applications.

The Crestabond® range of M7 / PP (1:1) and M1 (10:1) structural adhesives are unique to the market due to the incorporation of our novel tougheners. The Crestabond® range of adhesives benefits from a range of working times to suit different applications.

Under the brand family GENIOSIL®, WACKER offers organofunctional silanes and innovative silane modified polymers for bonding and sealing. Their most outstanding property is the fact that they combine environmental advantages with performance benefits.

Often, fillers have to meet very special requirements. In such cases not only good dispersion characteristics are of importance, but also mechanical and dynamic properties of the final products. Improved electrical insulation resistance, better aging and fluid resistance in many materials and improved anticorrosion properties have a crucial role to play in many areas. At Hoffmann Mineral, we developed Aktisil to meet such customer requirements. This special filler is made by treating the surface of Neuburg Siliceous Earth with chemical agents, mostly silanes. The reaction by-products (e.g. alcohol) formed during the manufacture of the different products of Aktisil are largely removed right away during the process. The coupling reaction fixes the silane to the surface of the filler. Any undesirable side-effects that can occur during mixing by direct addition of the silane are virtually eliminated. So the customer can choose from a complete product range of many different types of Aktisil. This is the result of many years of in-house experience and of close cooperation with customers. Baxxodur® curing agents are available as cycloaliphatic amines and as polyether amines. They are used as hardeners in the formulation of polyurethane composites. Depending on the requirements BTC’s curing agents allow long work-life (1-2 days), fast cure at elevated temperatures (100 – 180°C), excellent high temperature properties and chemical resistance, and good adhesion on metals.

Santicizer® Plasticizers offer all the benefits of high solvating plasticizers including compatibility in multiple polymer systems such as Polysulfide, PVC and Polyurethane. Because of their high efficiency, less energy is required to fuse PVC formulations. These materials are well suited for plastisol applications, but can easily be used in almost any polymer system that requires additional flexibility and softness.

GENIOSIL® XM range are monofunctional polymers that offer a wide range of adhesion and sealing options, even without the use of plasticizer. They are ideal for the formulation of soft yet highly elastic adhesives and sealants. The resultant product exhibits virtually universal, outstanding adhesion especially to many difficult, sometimes non-polar, substrates  in particular low-energy surfaces such as PVC, PS or EPDM.

Thixofix™ Eco Eco-Friendly Water Based Contact Adhesive is an easy to use, water-based high performance contact adhesive based on polychloroprene latex that has been developed especially to make high strength, permanent bonds on a wide variety of materials. It also features a novel built-in indicator for the correct time to bond materials together. Alpha Thixofix Eco is an ecologically friendly, non-hazardous adhesive that removes the risks associated with traditional solvent-based contact adhesives without compromising on bonding performance and durability.

Platinum Dual Purpose is Premium Type I, ceramic tile adhesive, extra smooth formula with higher bond strength. Color is white and available in 1 Gallon and 3.5 Gallon sizes.

Redispersible polymer powder is soluble in water. Maissen RDP is based on Vinyl acetate ethylene copolymer and used PVA as the protection colloid. Could disperse in water very well and form the emulsion. Maissen Redispersible polymer powder can increase the flexibility, bonding strength and water proofing of mortar.

Acronal® is a range water-based emulsions. Acronal® range for exterior paints covers styrene and pure acrylics which offer a very high durability against the influence of weathering. Acronal® range for wood and trim paints offer a very high durability against the influence of weathering. In addition, our styrene acrylics have an outstanding chemical resistance, which is very important for exterior applications. BTC’s range of Acronal® dispersions covers both selfcrosslinking and non selfcrosslinking dispersions. BTC’s range of Acronal® types give decorative foils, filters and wallpaper excellent mechanical properties. In air and oil filters for the automotive industry they improve durability and performance. In high-quality decorative paper foil, our binders ensure a high level of stability of the bonded fibers. To abrasives our binders ensure the abrasives flexibility and reduce abrasive particle wear. BTC’s Acronal® types for natural fibers are acrylic dispersions. BTC’s range of Acronal® types give nonwovens made of synthetic fibers their exceptional and different functional properties.

The QDEK® range was conceived by an innovative chemist who saw the need for a faster and cleaner bonding method for the installation of flat roofing membrane and insulation boards. The traditional bucket-and-roller application of contact adhesive is very slow, messy and labourintensive. QDEK® was developed as a fast, high coverage, and clean alternative to traditional single ply membrane adhesives. All that is required to apply QDEK® successfully is the ability to use a spray gun and a basic understanding of coverage and coat weights.
