PVB Phenolic resins are a family of thermoset resins that display outstanding structural rigidity, toughness, and adhesive strength. They are used primarily in ballistic helmet and vehicle applications once impregnated into high performance aramid fabrics. These fabrics offer exceptional ballistic performance in vehicle spall liner applications and versus fragmentation threats, as well as excellent structural and thermal properties. Standard configurations conform to MIL-DTL-62474 aramid fabric reinforced laminates for composite armor.

Biresin® CR131 is an epoxy resin system suitable for the production of high performance fiber reinforced composites parts and molds with thermal properties up to 130°C.

Ilkalem AS PV-200 is Bisphenol-A epoxy vinylester resin for GRP applications.

Curv® original is the first self-reinforced thermoplastic, offering superb impact resistance in countless colors and finishes. It is also recyclable.

Raptor Resins BMI-1 is a high-temperature Bismaleimide resins with features that you may need in your application.

Curv® HT is high temperature polyamide-based thermoplastic composites.

Curv® RG is a hybrid composite with fiber reinforcement, which increases stiffness/flex modulus while providing excellent tensile strength and maintaining the exceptional Curv® impact resistance.

VersaComp™ PET is a polyethylene terephthalate polymer-based composite designed for specific applications requiring easy forming, impact resistance, stiffness and unique surface properties while remaining recyclable.

Lightweight, cost competitive and ballistically superior, Barrday’s thermoplastic resin based products can be molded into complex 3D shapes and reshaped using high temperatures. Their excellent ballistics properties make thermoplastics ideal for a wide range of applications including stab resistant materials and composite armors. Ballistic panels made using these resins can be used as either as stand-alone structures or in combination with steel or ceramic in personal or vehicle armor.

HX5® is a proprietary injection moldable carbon fiber filled thermoplastic nanocomposite. It is a high strength-to weight ratio compound that is resistant to a variety of environmental conditions including temperature, corrosive gasses & liquids, and radiation. It is comparable in strength to 6061 aluminum and up to half the weight.

Phenolic resins are renowned for their excellent high temperature resistance, flame resistance, low smoke generation and low toxicity in fire situations. Phenolics are used in vehicle armor applications that utilize these properties in combination with E-glass and other high performance glass fibers. Phenolics are very rigid, although toughened versions are available with reduced temperature resistance.

Curv® RC is a hybrid composite using carbon fiber, offering superior tensile strength and stiffness with little compromise in impact resistance.

Curv® CTC is made from post-consumer recycled plastic and is also recyclable. Its strength is impact-resistance.

Maverick Corporation MVK-19 is an ultra-high temperature polyimide resin with continuous service capability up to 371°C. MVK-19’s excellent thermal stability makes it suitable for use in some of the harshest applications for composite bearings and structures.MVK-19 does not contain the toxic diamine 4,4’-methylenedianiline (MDA) or any other carcinogenic or mutagenic component. Its chemistry makes MVK-19 most suitable to be processed by compression molding.MVK-19 was formulated and developed by Maverick, and it has been qualified for use in military and commercial jet engines since 1994. Maverick Molding Company manufactures MVK-19 molded parts in high-rate production at our Blue Ash facility. MVK-19 is available as a resin solution from Maverick Corporation.

Raptor Resins BMI-2 grade from Raptor Resins, is its low-temperature cure.
