SABIC's Specialties Business LEXAN™ EXL9414T resin grade is a halogen-free flame retardant polycarbonate featuring transparency, -40 degree C ductility and UL-94 V0 rating for injection molding applications. Excellent impact combined with good flow, all transparent colorability for esthetics and thin wall flame retradancy makes this product an excellent candidate for thin wall applications. This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. XHT5141 is a high flow, high heat polycarbonate copolymer with a haze onset of 185C. It is available in a range of opaque colors.

SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM™ Resin 1000R is an unreinforced amorphous polyetherimide (PEI) resin that may offer a high glass transition temperature (Tg of 217°C). It contains an internal mold releases. Features are excellent mechanical, electrical and dimensional properties up to high temperatures. The material may offer very good chemical resistance for an amorphous material and is inherently flame retardant offering UL94 V0 and 5V ratings and aerospace FAR 25.853 compliance. The material is RoHS compliant. SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM™ Resin 2310 is an improved flow 30% glass fiber reinforced polyetherimide resin. The material is RoHS compliant and is intrinsically flame retardant without the use of FR modifiers and offers UL94 V0 and 5VA ratings and FAR25.853 performance. The material may offer excellent dimension stability, strength, stiffness and creep resistance up to high temperature due to its high glass transition temperature of 217°C. ULTEM™ Resin 1010 is RoHS compliant, and the natural, uncolored material is halogen-free according to standards IEC 61249-2-21, IPC 4101E, and JEDEC JS709B. Compliance for colored variants needs to be checked on a case-by-case basis. The base material is transparent amber-colored but is also available in custom colors, both transparent and opaque. This grade is an excellent candidate for a wide variety of applications including appliances, lighting and electrical. This UV stabilized, medium flow resin features UL f1/V-0/5VA rating with non-chlorinated, non-brominated flame retardant agents for wide range of colors. EXL9330 is an excellent candidate for a broad range of applications such as mobile phones, tablets, industrial housings, electric circuit protection, personal safety helmets, electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) housings and connectors.

SABIC's Specialties Business EXTEM™ Resin XH2315 is a reinforced, 30% glass fiber-filled amorphous thermoplastic polyimide resin that offers an extremely high glass transition temperature (Tg) of 267°C. It features excellent mechanical, electrical, and dimensional properties up to the highest temperatures, as well as very good chemical resistance for an amorphous material. It is also inherently flame retardant, achieving UL94 V0 ratings at 0.75 mm and V0, 5VA at 1.0 mm and 1.5 - 1.65 mm. This material is RoHS compliant and is available in natural and black colors with a transparent amber base.
