SP Series™ materials are pure polyethylene with broad regulatory compliance and contain no residual chemicals or additives that may interfere with some application requirements. SP Series™ powders are well suited for use in water, chemical and gas filter applications. SHP1200-1 can be independently sintered into a filter or used as a binder for activated carbon filter.

PEXIDAN® HF SX559 pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM540U in a ratio of 97:3 to 95:5. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only. PEXIDAN® HF SX559 has been designed to meet the requirements of IEC 60092-351 HF90, EN 50363-5, EI5 type, EN 50525-1, EN 50525-3-41 or other insulation or sheathing applications where high fire retardancy is required. Good CPR performance.

This industrial grade material is also moisture, stain and odor resistant, and is FDA approved to be used in the food processing industry. The material is ideally suited for wear applications especially in contact with metals. UHMW is widely used in industrial applications such as chute linings, dock bumpers, paper machine parts, and conveyor wear strips and can easily be machined with ordinary wood working tools.
