Its high extent of alkylation and low tendency to self-condense makes this product a highly effective crosslinking agent for a broad range of applications such as can, container, automotive and general industrial coatings. While CYMEL® 303 LF resin is insoluble in water, it shows excellent compatibility with water-soluble backbone polymers and provides very good stability in amine-stabilized waterborne formulations.

This carbamic resin, based on butylurethane and formaldehyde, has the properties of a plasticizer as well as that of a soft resin. It contains no organic solvents. It is light-fast and heat resistant and stable against hydrolysis. Resamin® HF 480 is mainly used as a soft resin in nitrocellulose lacquers for the coating of wood and paper to improve flexibility, adhesion, gloss and outdoor durability.

CYMEL® 325 Resin
CYMEL® 325 resin is a methylated high imino melamine crosslinker supplied in iso-butanol. It is highly reactive and has a high tendency towards self-condensation providing films with very good hardness, gloss, chemical resistance and outdoor durability. It is suitable for a wide range of solventborne or waterborne baking applications, such as coil and can coating formulations, automotive primers and topcoats, and general industrial coatings.
EBECRYL® 168 is an acidic methacrylate adhesion promoter designed as an additive for ultraviolet (UV) and electron beam (EB) curable coatings on metal. It is recommended for use in: general metal coatings and primers, coatings for galvanized pipe and tube, coil coatings, solder resist formulations.
EBECRYL® 350 is a silicone diacrylate that improves slip, substrate wetting, and coating flow and leveling when used as an additive in formulations cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB). Cured films containing EBECRYL® 350 will exhibit a smooth, tack free surface, with good blocking resistance. Because of its acrylate functionality, the silicone cures into the polymeric backbone, thus eliminating the migration that free silicones often display in coatings. EBECRYL® 350 is recommended for use in: overprint varnishes, clear coatings on paper, plastics and metal, and release coatings.
EBECRYL® 8402 is a low viscosity aliphatic urethane diacrylate. Films cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) exhibit good flexibility, toughness and excellent exterior durability. Low viscosity coatings or enhanced performance via increased oligomer content are possible. It is recommended for use in: coatings for wood, coatings for plastics, flexographic inks, screen inks, and exterior durable coatings.
SETALUX® 1184 SS-51

ADDITOL® CPK (a.k.a. Photo-initiator 184) is a radical photoinitiator that can be used alone or in combination with other photoinitiators. It is used in formulations containing unsaturated materials such as acrylates, methacrylates, vinyls and unsaturated polyesters. With exposure to UV light, ADDITOL® CPK undergoes a photochemical reaction that generates radicals. These radicals will initiate polymerization through the unsaturated groups present in the system. Suggested applications for ADDITOL® CPK include: paper upgrading, wood top-coats, hard-coats for plastics, overprint varnishes, vinyl flooring, metal coatings, exterior applications, general coating applications where low yellowing is critical, and inks and pigmented coatings (in combination with other photoinitiators). CYMEL® 327-70 resin is very reactive and has a tendency towards self-condensation at normal baking temperatures, providing films with very good hardness, gloss, chemical resistance and outdoor durability. Its major advantage relative to other high imino resins is its potential to lower VOC in high solids formulations.
