LRBG Chemicals USA RUFR 1006M is an off-white/yellow latex intumescent fire-retardant polyurethane coating designed as a primer coating for wood and engineered wood composites. When applied and dried, it creates a low-gloss protective primer coating. When exposed to temperatures above 200°C, it creates a multicellular protective char layer that shields the wood substrate beneath it from the fire. This system has excellent adhesion to wood composites and yields low flame spread and smoke development ratings.
