- Film Properties
- Films of DeCAL 4030 are clear, glossy, water resistant and flexible. Systems which are to be cured/dried below the minimum film forming temperature of the product will require a suitable coalescent agent to be included in the final formula, to ensure proper film formation.
- Suitable coalescing agents include, Texanol, BDDA and BDG. Recommended addition levels are in the range of 1 - 3% on total formula. Further improvements in heat and solvent resistance can also be achieved through the use of a suitable crosslinking agent.
