Thinner Recommendation
Excellent tolerance to aromatic hydrocarbons, limited tolerance to aliphatic solvents.
Drier Recommendation
0.06% cobalt, 0.2% zirconium and 0.2% calcium metals as percentage on resin solids for air drying systems. Alternatively, up to 0.9% aluminum driers in combination with 0.02% cobalt give much improved drying characteristics. For general useage, use 0.6% Aluminum and 0.03% cobalt. CRESTAKYD 30-9502 does not display large viscosity increases in combination with aluminum driers, as often apparent in other compliant formulations.
Applications

Crestakyd® 30-9502 may be used to formulate low VOC industrial air-drying top coats and one coat primer systems. Paints based on Crestakyd® 30-9502 show rapid development of water resistance.
