S-483 is a spherical synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 110°C. It has good onset of melting and low crystallinity. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

Carbon Black 35B is a low structure, low color furnace carbon black used in offset inks. It is also highly suitable for heatset inks. A high concentration of this product can be used to obtain high gloss, but without an adverse increase in the viscosity of the ink. This product is available in powder form.

Mosselman Linseed Stand Oil 60 P (67746-08-1) is a heat bodied alkali refined linseed oil with a light color, minimum subsequent yellowing, excellent pigment wetting and dis- persing properties and good drying.

CeraSPERSE 31 is carnauba wax compounded in Butyl Carbitol (Diethylene glycol monobutyl ether). This slow-evaporating, hydrophilic glycol ether provides compatibility with both polar and non-polar systems. Shamrock’s CeraSPERSE products are manufactured using a controlled crystallization process that allows the production of 1 micron wax dispersions. These wax compounds have a translucent appearance with a shiny gloss and a creamy feel.
