"Izel Kimya A.Ş. is a company established in 1996 to meet demands of paint and varnish manufacturers by producing alkyd resin, which is a type of synthetic resin that is an important raw material used in paint industry. First, the factory was constructed in Pendik/Istanbul location with the capacity of 2000 tons/year. The demand of the market naturally created supply and at first our company reached the capacity of 1250 tons/ year varnish production (cellulose with polyurethane filling and garish). After that in 1998 the polyester resins’ capacity reached 1620 tons/year. The capacity and customer portfolio increased continuously by new researches and developments. "At the beginning of 2014 , father and son Wille started building their own filament extruder. They decided to do this because of the growing interest in 3D printing technology, the knowledge of plastic within the company and the company network. 3D4Makers is the result from a company that primarily dealt with selling plastic raw materials. Now the 3D4Makers team consists of five members, each with their own specialties. While building the filament extruder and testing it we found out that moisture in the filament can cause problems while printing. Moisture in the filament could also lower the quality of the printing product. 3D4Makers took this problem into account while building the filament extruder. Normally a filament extruder uses a several meters long waterbed to cool the filament. During this process the filament absorbs water. 3D4Makers chose not to use this cooling technique which means that the filament does not come into contact with water during the production process. On top of that the filament is directly packaged in a vacuum packaging after the production process. This production process makes the 3D4Makers filament particularly suitable for FDM and FFF 3D printers. The material has an excellent adhesion between the layers. This results in great improvement of the impact resistance, strength, durability, the printing process and “warping”. The 3D4Makers filament comes with a product information folder that contains technical information, printer settings, storage information and safety information. Basically everything you need to know."

Marcus Oil was formed for the sole purpose of producing linear, low molecular weight polyethylene waxes, with high melt points. A production facility for this express purpose, utilizing high density polyethylene wax from the Ziegler process. Dedicated tankers are used to truck the molten feedstock from domestic petrochemical plants and international sources to the Marcus facility where it is refined into several grades of PE wax. It is then shipped in molten state, or accudroped and shipped in a variety of packaging styles, e.g. pastille, powder, micronized and flake form. The processing unit includes a drum flaker as well as six accudrop belts (60″ wide and 88’long). The plant operates seven days per week, 24 hours per day. Annual capacity is in excess of 250 million pounds.
