Tykote 1019 is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that has a firm hand with excellent film strength properties. It is intended for use as a base polymer in the formulation of barrier coatings for paper and paperboard packaging. Tykote 1019 imparts excellent water resistance, and has good adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces. Tykote 1019 is recommended for use in paper and paperboard coatings where a high degree of water and water vapor resistance is needed. It may also be formulated into barrier laminating adhesives for paper-to-paper, paper-to-film, and foil-to-paper. EBECRYL® 373 is a brown paste additive specifically designed to minimize the misting of UV/EB curable offset inks. Typically, 3 to 5% of this additive is incorporated into the formulated ink. While it is preferably added during the grinding stage, it can also be introduced during the letdown process. Bomar BR-3641AA is an aliphatic polyether urethane acrylate with a high molecular weight and theoretical 1.3 functionality. Films formulated with BR- 3641AA are highly flexible, elastomeric, and tacky. When formulated as an adhesive, this oligomer is excellent as an adhesion promoter or reactive tackifier. This oligomer offers improved adhesion to a variety of substrates.

VIVAPUR® HPMC K4M is a medium viscosity hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose in powder form. It is solvable in water and forms a reversible gel above a specific gelling temperature. VIVAPUR® HPMC K4M can also be used to increase tack and form transparent and flexible films which show oil barrier properties. VIVAPUR® HPMC K4M is an EU approved food additive which complies with the specifications according to Reg. (EU) No. 231/2012 and Food Chemical Codex.
