Anionic surfactants are negatively charged materials that are available in a variety of chemical types. The main classes being alkyl ether sulfates, alkyl sulfates, alkylbenzene sulfonates, alpha olefin sulfonates, phosphate esters. They are used in a wide range of applications where they provide useful characteristics including, emulsification, solubilisation, wetting, detergency, dispersion and foaming.

BIO-SOFT® is a nonionic surfactant blend that is an excellent cleaner, degreaser, and detergent. It can be formulated into concentrates and ready-to-use products for household, industrial, and institutional applications.

ALFOL® is a blend of high purity petrochemical-based linear primary alcohols. They are physically and chemically equivalent to corresponding oleochemical based alcohols derived from such sources as coconut oil or palm oil.

CAVAMAX® is the trade name for cyclodextrins from WACKER. We are the only company in the world to manufacture all three naturally occurring cyclodextrins – α, β and γ (CAVAMAX® W6, W7 and W8). CAVAMAX® cyclodextrins have unique properties resulting in a wide range of functionalities, such as stabilization, rheology control, masking of bitterness or increasing bioavailability and much more. Nadone® HDR® cyclohexanone is ideal in applications that are sensitive to oxygen or peroxide. Applications range across electronics, PVC cement, pesticides, paint and printing ink formulations.

LPA Solvent is a high-purity mixture of hydrotreated isoparaffins and naphthenics with very low levels of polynuclear aromatics. It is a clear liquid with a medium flash point and mild odor.

Flexisurf™ surfactant wetting agents and specialty foamers perform under conditions where conventional surfactants fall short.

Pluriol® grades are polyalkylene glycols or modified (alkyl) polyalkylene glycols. Pluriol® grades offer specialized properties making them ideal for improving electroplating processes.

Sokalan® range comprises dispersing agents that are used to eliminate or reduce the impact of water hardness ions during the application of the detergent or cleaning formulation. State-of-the-art laundry formulations consist of sodium polyacrylates, like our Sokalan® types.

MAKON® UD-Series of products are fast wetters due to their C11 branched carbon chain. They are faster wetters than nonylphenol ethoxylates (NP) and tridecyl alcohol ethoxylates (TDA). They also have good initial foam height with fast foam break, useful in applications like industrial clean-in-place and laundry.

Emulsion concentrates (EC) formulations rely on effective emulsifiers to produce spontaneous stable emulsions providing rapid and uniformed dispersion in the spray tank. Lankem offers a broad range of single emulsifiers for use in the formulation of EC’s plus a range of mixed pair emulsifiers that greatly reduce the complexity of producing an effective emulsifier system.

Our butyl-based TOXIMUL® series are multifunctional polymeric surfactants that are excellent emulsifiers in oil-based systems and come in a range of high ethylene oxide (EO) content. Our product line of low pour point materials has been developed with a range of hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) values, EO content and water solubility to enable formulators to find solutions for even the most challenging formulations.

Dissolvine® chelates form strong, water-soluble complexes that prevent undesirable precipitation, dissolve scale deposits and optimize oxidation processes. Our chelate product range includes chelating agents that bind and control metal ions, as well as metal chelates that introduce the right form of metal ions into a product or process.

Naxol® cyclohexanol is a versatile solvent and intermediate suitable for use in and/or production of agricultural and CASE products, rubbers, plasticizers, solvents, and fragrance compounds. Ideal for applications sensitive to oxygen or peroxide, it also offers a low toxicity profile and is produced to low moisture standards. For extra freeze protection at temperatures as low as -5ºC (23ºF), it is available as Naxol® W.
