TYTAN™ TAA is a titanium chelate whose alkoxy groups can react with resins to enhance adhesion and/or crosslinking, while the chelating agents stabilize the molecule. TYTAN™ TAA has an exceptional balance between reactivity and crosslinking/adhesion-improvement properties, which makes it highly suitable for significantly enhancing the performance properties of industrial coatings on challenging modern polymeric substrates, glass, and some metals.

TYTAN™ AQZ30 is a zirconium triethanolamine complex that readily hydrolyses in water to produce a hydroxyl zirconium chelate. This will readily crosslink with -OH and -COOH groups in solvent and aqueous systems to form strong gels and has the potential to act as an adhesion promoter.

TYTAN™ TIPT is a highly reactive primary titanate that readily hydrolyzes upon contact with moisture. It is primarily used as a catalyst for esterification, transesterification, and olefin polymerization, and selectively as an adhesion-promoting and cross-linking agent for hydroxylic compounds or heat- and corrosion-resistant coatings. TYTAN™ TIPT is particularly suitable for use in glass and glass fiber manufacturing and can only be added to solvent-based products.

TYTAN™ AQ33 is titanium ammonium lactate that is used as an esterification and transesterification catalyst for the manufacture of unsaturated polyester, polyester, PET, PTT, and PBT when water content is higher. TYTAN™ AQ33 can also be used as an adhesion promoter or cross-linking agent for water-based coatings on various surfaces.

TYTAN™ S6 is a titanium ethylacetoacetate commonly used as an important additive in moisture-curing room temperature vulcanizable (RTV) silicone sealant, as a catalyst for silane and silicone cross-linking, and as a moisture scavenger for sealant. TYTAN™ S6 is sensitive to water and will react and cure immediately while in contact with moisture at room temperature.

ACCESS® Organosilane VOS is a versatile silane that is often used as a crosslinker for many silicone coatings and sealants, as well as room temperature vulcanized (RTV) rubber. ACCESS® Organosilane VOS is a Clear to slight yellow liquid that belongs to the family of vinyltriethoxysilanes. It is a versatile coupling agent and adhesion promoter that can improve the bonding strength between organic and inorganic materials. VOS can be used in a variety of applications including paints, coatings, and sealants to provide superior adhesion to substrates such as glass, metals, and plastics.

DeCAL 4002HC is a versatile, high-performance, anionic, self-crosslinking polymer for the production of high-performance finishes across a variety of industries. DeCAL 4002HC can be used to replace UF and MF resins or used in conjunction to improve the abrasion resistance and tensile strength of natural and synthetic fabrics.

TYTAN™TM AP910 is an ethyl citrate zirconium that can be formulated as an adhesion promoter for printing inks, a crosslinker for paints, as well as a catalyst for esterification. Due to its proprietary chelated structure, TYTAN™ AP910 shows a delayed reaction at ambient temperature and thus facilitates the storage stability of inks. Compared with organo-titanate adhesion promoters, it shows good compatibility with PVB, CAB, and CAP inks and provides minimal discoloration during the sterilizing process in the printing of milk pouches.

DeCAL 4003 is a versatile high performance anionic self crosslinking polymers for the production of high performance finishes across a variety of industries. Trazidin VN is composed of polyfunctional aziridine and appears as a clear, amber liquid. When utilized as a cross-linker, it significantly enhances the final properties of various adhesives, coatings, and printing applications. Notably, Trazidin VN is miscible in water and many common organic solvents, enabling its use in both aqueous and solvent-based systems.

It is a polyol used in 2K polyurethane coatings and may be used as a blending resin in 1K systems. It has a low molecular weight combined with a high hydroxyl value for creating 2K waterbased polyurethane coatings with a high crosslink density. This waterborne polyol is classified as a dispersion as it is synthesized without emulsifier. This unique, emulsifier-free technology allows for the formulation of waterbased 2K polyurethane coatings with the same performance as traditional solventbased 2K coatings. AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. LUMIFLON® LF710F - FEVE Resin Polyol is a fluoroethylene vinyl ether (FEVE) resin designed for weather-resistant, high performance powder coatings. LF710F resin has hydroxyl functionality allowing for crosslinking with polyisocayanates or amino curing agents. Powder coatings based on LF710F exhibit excellent durability in exterior weathering exposure, resisting chalk, color fade, and gloss loss. LUMIFLON LF710F is supplied in flake form. It is soluble in various common solvents and may be used in high performance solventbased coatings. It may be used on a variety of substrates requiring long term weatherability. FEVE resins tend to have good adhesion to metal. Depending on the service environment, they may be used to coat directly over metal without the use of primer.

Jagropol-500 is a solventless medium viscosity polyol with ether and ester groups.

Viscoat #190 (EOEOEA, EEEA, CBA) is famous polar acrylate but our EEEA called V#190 has different properties compared with other company’s products. Our V#190 is highly distillated, so that it has very low viscosity and color, and no difunctional impurities derived from polyethylene glycol. Our competitors’ product have relatively higher viscosity, higher color, and cannot be a comonomer for acrylic copolymer. Recently, very low volatiles during UV radiation properties are reported [1]. So if you use our products, you can cut down on the frequency of UV lamp maintenance and the work environment will improve because the volatiles will be reduced. V#190 is suitable for adhesives because it has low Tg and high elongation properties along with a polar nature (enough polarity to aid in adhesion, but still an effective diluent for non-polar resins).

Viscoat #155 (CHA) has a simple structure. Cycloalkyl structure induces weatherability with low viscosity, good compatibility and lower shrinkage. As compared with isobornyl acrylate, its viscosity is very low. CHA has relatively higher Tg than other acrylic monomers. Sometimes CHA is used for photoresist because it is easy to hydrolysis because cyclohexanol is secondary alcohol.

MEDOL-10 has a novel unique structure. It was developed for replacement of THFA, tetrahydrofurfuryl acrylate. MEDOL-10 only has exclamation pictogram on REACH. Its viscosity is low enough for many applications like UV inkjet ink. Some of paper said high polarity pendant group induces high curing speed [1]. Dioxolane structure induces high solvency as same as THFA because both THF and dioxolane are good solvent.

K-FLEX® A307 is a low viscosity, 100% solids linear, saturated, aliphatic polyester diol. This product is designed as a flexibility modifier for acrylic/isocyanate and acrylic/melamine systems.

K-FLEX® UD-320-100 a 100% solids version of K-FLEX® UD-320 recommended for prepolymer synthesis and 100% solids WB/SB melamine crosslinked systems or 2K PU. Used for preparation of polyester polyurethanes or alkyd polyurethanes. It provides hardness and exterior durability.

K-FLEX® A308 is a low-viscosity polyester diol designed as a flexibility modifier for acrylic/isocyanate and acrylic/melamine systems. K-FLEX® A308 provides good hardness and adhesion while allowing lower VOC levels.

K-FLEX® UD-320 is a high solids, aliphatic, low molecular weight urethane diol oligomer. It is soluble in polar organic solvents and has broad compatibility with acrylic, polyester, and alkyd resins. K-FLEX® UD-320 will increase the hardness of a melamine crosslinked system. When used to modify a 2-component polyurethane, it will increase hardness and flexibility. K-FLEX® UD-320 responds best to a zirconium chelate catalyst when used in isocyanate crosslinked systems.

K-FLEX® 148 is a lower viscosity version of K-FLEX® 188 designed for formulating higher solids content with good hardness and increased flexibility.

HPA is one of the reasonable hydroxyalkyl acrylates like HEA. It is second choice for crosslinking site of acrylic resin of paintings, adhesives, inks etc. HPA is also useful to control Hydrophilicity and adhesiveness to polar substrate because of it polar hydroxyalkyl moiety. HPA has low di-ester because the reactivity of secondary hydroxyl group is lower than primary hydroxyl group.

HEA is the most reasonable hydroxyalkyl acrylate. It is first choice for crosslinking site of acrylic resin of paintings, adhesives, inks etc. HEA is also useful to control Hydrophilicity and adhesion to polar substrate because of it polar hydroxyalkyl moiety. Our HEA has lower Di-ester impurities than any other companies. It is useful for many industries who want to control cross-linking side reaction. Be careful handling HEA because it has toxicity, corrosivity, mutagenicity because of its fundamental reactivity. We also have lower toxic hydroxyalkyl acrylate, 4-HBA (4-hydroxybutyl acrylate).

4-HBA is used for acrylic resins, adhesives, UV diluent. It is water miscible. Its OH group of co-polymer is higher reactivity than the other hydroxyalkyl monomers like HEMA and HEA because of the longer alkyl chain between OH group and polymer main chain. The 2K urethane painting with 4-HBA has higher scratch resistance and stronger mechanical properties because it can form higher crosslinking density due to highly reactive OH group. 4-HBA is also used for UV diluent application because the lower toxicity than the other hydroxyalkyl acrylates, like HEA and HPA which are classified as CMR substances in most of countries.

V#802 has unique structure. Some pentaerthritols are connected each other and then acrylated, so it has high functionality, 7-10. The properties of V#802 are extended DPHA. Although Double bond equivalent is PETA < DPHA < #802, it has very hard property and high sensitivity. It has high molecular weight and viscosity, but the compatibility is not so bad. V#802 is solved into IPA, Toluene, Ethyl acetate, MEK and so on. .

V-8F is registered in many countries.It has fluorine properties like water / oil repellency, low surface tension, low RI, and low gas transparency. This Product is not applicable PFOA / PFOS problem due to shorter alkyl chain so far. Please be aware these monomers are easy to volatile because F atoms induce weak intermolecular interaction. Recently these materials are studied specialty application like living radical polymerization, oligomer for nano-imprint photolithography, and synthetic opal.

Branched C8 structure like 2-ethylhexyl acrylate and iso-octyl acrylate are famous, but NOAA has linear C8 structure. C8 moiety of NOAA is derived from renewal resources nevertheless the others are derived from petrol. NOAA has very soft property due to its linear structure. It is well used for soft material like adhesives. NOAA can be a co-monomer with the other various monomers because it is highly distillated.

Lauryl acrylate is made from renewal source so that it helps your carbon-neutral business. Our LA is a single component C12, however, our competitors’ lauryl (meth)acrylate include not only C12 lauryl, but also C14 myristyl because of its alcohol nature. Long alkyl chain moiety induces low viscosity, surface tension and polarity. LA is used for UV inkjet inks because of its soft and flexibilizing properties [1]. And it is also used for adhesives and finish coatings because of its slippage. Recently high purity LA is investigated for polymer brush made by ATRP (Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization) with Stearyl acrylate [2], or fabrication of ultrahydrophobilc on silicon wafer 3]. They are called as Side Chain Crystallization polymer, and have not only Tg, but also melting point (Tm) even though usual acrylic polymers do not have Tm.
