BELSIL® SDM 5055 VP is a silicone wax known as stearyl dimethicone, classified according to the CTFA (Cosmetic, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association) guidelines. It exhibits excellent compatibility with various cosmetic raw materials, including oils, waxes, fatty alcohols, and fatty acids.

Salcare® SC 60 is designed for use in a range of applications in the cosmetic industry, specifically facial cleansers, liquid hand soaps, liquid shower soaps, hair shampoos, and hair conditioners. It is a highly substantive aqueous cationic polymer for use in skin and hair care formulations, with a typical application level in a conditioning shampoo of around 0.1% of the product as supplied. This product is supplied in white free-flowing beads and functions as a conditioner, detangler, softener, and good spreading agent.

Texique® CS-32 is an aqueous solution of a naturally derived cationic polysaccharide produced from food grade potato starch that has not been genetically modified. It is preserved with phenoxyethanol and sodium benzoate and can easily be incorporated into clear formulations.

HEDI® Avocado (R10089) is a unique combination of avocado butter with plant-derived squalane, radish seed extract, and vitamin E in a silicone-free microdispersion carrying more than 30% hydrophobe. Avocado Butter is an occlusive moisturizer to lock in moisture, rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants. Squalane and radish seed extract act as emollients to help to soothe and soften, and improve skin barrier function. Vitamin E shields from oxidation and free radicals. Tactile properties can be light and silky or velvety and more occlusive. HEDI® products streamline manufacturing processes for time, energy, and cost savings by avoiding additional heating, melting, and mixing steps. HEDI® products are amenable to cold processes and do not require surfactants or emulsifiers.HEDI® products have properties similar to the skin barrier, promoting skin permeability and facilitating delivery through the lipid-rich, waterproof stratum corneum. Finished products have a better feel and provide superior surface coverage when compared to traditionally formulated butters and oils.

BergaCare IN 2 is composed of Isononyl Isononanoate. SMA'RT® FermentDiol™ is the 100% natural and green version of 1,3-butylene glycol. It is obtained through the fermentation of sugarcane using white biotechnology. SMA'RT® Fermentdiol™ can be used as a substitute for propylene glycol and other synthetic moisturizers. It is desired due to its silky sensory attribute, easy spreadability, and anti-irritation properties. It is a humectant, emollient, solvent, antimicrobial agent and can stabilize volatile compounds in formulations. Sample Size: 100g

Phoenix Chemical offers sustainable partially and fully hydrogenated BIOGEL 100% vegetable butters. They are soft pastes that melt at skin temperature, spread easily and are very emollient and non-greasy. As can be seen from the attached solubility table, they are generally miscible in oils, silicones, and esters. They can be liquefied with vegetablebased esters such as PELEMOL P-810 (Propanediol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate) to form liquid 100% vegetable-based emollients. The butters can be emulsified with PELEMOL P-1263 (Polyglyceryl-10 Hexaoleate (and) Polyglyceryl-6 Polyricinoleate) to form w/o emulsions which can invert to o/w as the water phase increases. Other useful emulsifiers to be considered are PELEMOL GMB (Glyceryl Behenate), and PELEMOL GMR (Glyceryl Ricinoleate).

Phyto COLLAGE 20B(N) is anti-aging, sensitive skin, moisturizing active ingredient, recommended for skin and hair care applications. It is expected to have promotion of NMF biosynthesis, inhibition of TWEL, and increase of water content in stratum corneum efficacies. It is a colorless, highly viscous amino acid polymer solution obtained by adding and fermenting Bacillus subtilis, a type of bacillus, to soybeans, and then extracting and purifying a high molecular weight substance mainly composed of glutamate polymer. Glutamic acid polymer with a molecular weight of about several hundred thousand is considered to be the main viscosity. Compared to animal collagen, it has excellent compatibility, thermal and pH stability, and is considered to have a wide range of applications in formulation. It has good spreadability on the skin and is less sticky even after drying, leading to moisturized skin.

Pumpkin Seed Oil, known for its skin moisturizing properties is now available as BIOGEL Pumpkin Seed Butter. PECOSIL® G-600 is a slightly hazy silicone gel that provides luxurious emolliency, spreadability, and cushion to all skin products. It leaves the skin with a pronounced silky, powdery, light waxy elegance. PECOSIL® G-600 is not water soluble and acts as a moisture barrier that contributes to softness in all makeup, skin and sunscreen products. The sensory properties contributed by PECOSIL® G-600 are proportional to the concentration of PECOSIL® G-600 used and can vary from 2 – 50%.
