Reolosil® QS-102 is a very fine amorphous silicon dioxide made by the combustion of high-purity silicon tetrachloride with oxygen and hydrogen. Acti-Min® RG is a high quality, low residue, air floated sedimentary hard kaolin clay. Strict attention to production and quality control assures a high degree of product uniformity. Acti-Min RG is classified to a very low 325 mesh residue, making it suitable for any customers who may be sensitive to fine, non-kaolin residue. Hard Clays are very fine in their natural particle size. They provide high modules, tensile strength, abrasion resistance, green strength and stiffness to elasometric compounds.

Acti-Min® PG is a carefully produced, high quality, kaolin clay designed for the paint industry. It is also well suited to adhesives, sealants, and white rubber applications. Strict attention to the clay source and to process control assures a consistently high brightness and suitable particle size for the use in the contractor-grade paints. The naturally fine particle size of Acti-Min® PG keeps the +325 Mesh low and has a higher percentage of particles less than 0.5 microns compared to coarser clays. This size distribution allows the paint formulator to maximize the hiding power of titanium dioxide (TiO2), while reducing overall formulation cost.

Crown Clay is a high quality, air float, sedimentary, hard kaolin clay. Strict attention to production and quality control assures a high degree of product uniformity. Hard clays are very fine in their natural particle size. This limits how much hard clay can be incorporated into a rubber com-pound. Typical loading levels range from 20 to 150 phr. Hard clay provides high modulus, tensile strength, abrasion re-sistance, green strength and provides stiffness to elastomeric compounds.

AL FS-300 hydrophilic fumed silica with its smaller primary particle size makes it more suitable for transparent and semi-transparent systems. Fumed silica’s unique manufacturing process produces a very high purity type of silica with nano size primary particles, a fluffy white powder that is an amorphous and form of silica. These characteristics impart a wide range of benefits to formulations from thickening and reinforcement to free flow and anti-settling.

Filled Silicone Vinyl-terminated Compound

AL 69C is a 50/50 mixture of AL69 with N330 carbon black to form a free flowing granule that is easy to use and at the same time utilize the properties of the AL 69 silane. AL 69 is a bifunctional polysulfidic organosilane for the rubber industry. It is used to improve the reinforcing capability of fillers with silanol group on their surface (e.g., silicas, silicates, clay, etc.), and also as an integral part of curing systems to improve crosslinking network properties.

The curing mechanism of vinyl-functional silicone polymers (Andisil® VS) is a platinum catalyzed addition reaction with silicone crosslinkers containing silicon-hydride groups. Carbon black, fumed or precipitated silica and other fillers well known to formulators with expertise in compounding silicones. Our Calcined Clay - Hyper 200 R is calcined metakaolin produced by removing chemically bound water from the crystal structure. This Calcined clay is brighter than most water-washed clays, offering excellent processing and reinforcement in rubber application.
