Ethylene Propylene Diene Rubber (EPDM) is a copolymer manufactured from ethylene, propylene, and a small number of diene monomers. A small number of diene monomers form unsaturated groups pendant from the main saturated chain. These diene monomers provide cross-linking sites that allow EPDM to be vulcanized.

MicrOring® seal is any o-ring that measures less than 1 mm in either inside diameter or cross section. Apple Rubber offers MicrOring® seals in more than 2,000 sizes, ranging from the largest, with an inside diameter or cross section of .039 in. (1.0 mm), down to .008 in. (.20 mm) inside diameter and cross section.

DAI-EL differs in its synthetic pathway (production method) from natural rubber, which is synthetized internally in plants, and diene rubber, which uses oil as a raw material, and is a fluoroelastomer that exhibits exceptionally sophisticated qualities.DAI-EL features a tactile sensation that feels good when touched. Because of its extremely high durability due to the performance of the fluorine compound, DAI-El fluoroelastomers have a physical property that resists quality deterioration. ELASTOSIL® is an all-rounder for countless applications. Silicone rubbers consist essentially of silicone polymers and fillers. They cure at high temperature (HTV/LSR grades) or room temperature (RTV grades) with suitable reactants, forming a three-dimensional structure and transforming the uncured compound in a plastic state into an elastomeric rubber. Silicone elastomers are flexible at low temperatures and resistant to heat and aging (UV radiation and ozone). They are easy to process and have good mechanical properties that remain unchanged over a wide temperature range. They have a neutral taste and are biologically unreactive.
