SOLPLAST® is a range of thermoplastic elastomer compounds based on styrene block copolymers such as SBS, SEBS and SEEPS, a so-called TPE-S product. These compounds have rubber-like properties, yet flow like thermoplastics when exposed to heat and pressure. TPE-S based products are characterized by low compression set and good resistance to various media. Special types with adhesion properties to various thermoplastics complement the portfolio.

FlexPlast® Thermoplastic Elastomer is a plastic material that combines the processing advantages of a thermoplastic with the properties and performance of a rubber-like material. The product is a soft, flexible, highly elastic material that can be custom formulated to perform in a variety of processes, including injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and thermoforming. These lower modulus, flexible materials can typically be stretched repeatedly, only to return to their original shape when relaxed. When heated, FlexPlast® will soften until it flows, making it suitable for formation into complex shapes using standard thermoplastic processing equipment.

Arnitel TPC, a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, is used as a lighter, smarter, greener material alternative to conventional rubbers. Because of its excellent characteristics, it offers design engineers exceptional flexibility—giving them the freedom to implement the most innovative product concepts.  Arnitel has a broad range of hardnesses, making it capable to replace rubbers, metals, leather and other thermoplastics. This thermoplastic elastomer delivers superior chemical resistance, along with heat and wear resistance, plus the ability to be recycled.

Greenplay® is an ecological TPE infill for synthetic turf, used for the realization of pitches and sport facilities installed with artificial grass. Greenplay is a SEBS polymer, produced with virgin raw materials; it is a round shape granule, free from dust and smell. Greenplay is a thermoplastic elastomer formulated and produced with completely nontoxic raw materials, suitable for food and skin contact, without dangerous substances, phtalates, heavy metals or allergens. Greenplay is patented in Italy and Europe and it complies with the standard DIN SPEC 18035-7:2011-10.

Styrene-butadiene block copolymers are polymerized in solution and present different structures, linear, radial and multiarm. They are free flowing materials that show different viscosities to adapt their properties to the multiple applications where they can be used in. Lower linear molecular weight grades offer very good flowability, are appreciated for their transparency and easy processability. Radial grades show higher melt strength, and offer higher mechanical properties with a high modification performance. Multiarm grades show a combination of low viscosity with temperature resistance. This performance make them suitable for a wide range of applications such as technical compounding, adhesives and sealants, bitumen modification for road pavements and waterproofing membranes. They are also used in shoe sole applications and polymer modification. They comply with different food contact applications. Typical physical aspects can go from fluffy crumbs to powder versions.

THEMOPLASTIC COMPOUNDS BASED ON PP AND DYNAMICALLY VULCANIZED EPDM Taroplast trade name for thermoplastic compounds based on PP-EPDM. Solid Vulkollan® fills the gap in the hardness range between rubber-elastic materials and hard plastics (e.g. polyamide) and can be adjusted between 65 Shore hardness A and 70 Shore hardness D. Due to its excellent property profile, Vulkollan® is used in all areas of industry where the highest demands are placed on the material. Articles of different geometries from a few grams to more than 100kg unit weight can be produced economically both in large series and in individual production.

Cellular Vulkollan® is characterized by excellent properties such as high resilience, large volume compressibility, high restoring force, good abrasion resistance even under continuous load, aging and weather resistance, resistance to oil, grease, petrol, ozone, nitrogen.
