ADM Hydrogenated Soybean Oil (Type II), EP/USP (Shortening 36) is a partially hydrogenated soybean oil obtained by refining and hydrogenation of soybean oil extracted from Glycine max (L) Merr. Shortening 36 is compliant with the specifications of the USP/NF 'Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil' Type II monograph and can be used in food and pharmaceutical applications. In the pharmaceutical space it can be used as excipient in oral and topical applications.
ADM Fully Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, EP/USP (VGB4S) is a fully hydrogenated soybean oil obtained by refining and hydrogenation of soybean oil extracted from Glycine max (L) Merr. VGB4S can be used for food and pharmaceutical applications. In the pharmaceutical space, it can be used as excipient in oral and topical applications, as it is compliant with EP and USP monograph specifications.
