"We, Resysta International GmbH, have set ourselves the goal of creating sustainable alternatives, especially for tropical woods. Our rainforests are the green lungs of our earth. It is important to preserve these - also to protect the diverse fauna. Resysta International has therefore developed the material Resysta, which looks and feels like natural tropical wood, and consists of around 60% rice hulls - a waste product of the food industry. Resysta products have many advantages over wooden products. But not a single tree has to be felled to make products from Resysta. Today we grant licenses worldwide to companies who, like us, believe in Resysta as a sustainable substitute for wood, not least because of the many advantages that Resysta products have over products made of wood or WPC. We see ourselves as a technology carrier and help with the marketing of products or semi-tools made of Resysta. If the value of a company lies in the ability to produce real innovations, then we have achieved a great success with Resysta. With Resysta, the chemical industry has the opportunity to manufacture a truly sustainable product for the first time and even make an important contribution to protecting our rainforests. In countries like China and India in particular, the demand for wood is steadily increasing. If Malaysia and Indonesia cannot or do not want to deliver any more wood, then with Resysta we currently offer the only real solution to the problem. The sooner these countries notice you, the better it is for our rainforests."

Matrix has grown organically and by acquisitions over 23 years to become one of the world’s leading suppliers of raw materials to the rotomoulding industry. We have always believed that our unique focus on this fantastic process means we are well placed to offer the best technical sales and support in the business. One of our key objectives is to bring fresh ideas and exciting new materials to the market and expand the range of products that can be rotomoulded. We have strong technical roots and like to work in close collaboration with our customers. We also have close partnerships with our suppliers. Some of whom are the world’s largest petrochemical companies. We offer one of the widest ranges of materials and several of our key grades have been developed by us under our ‘design for roto’ concept. These are made to our own recipe and produced exclusively for Matrix. Our rotomoulding technical centre is based in the UK. As well as a wide range of sophisticated testing equipment, pilot-scale manufacturing and colour-matching the technical centre also has a production-scale carousel rotomoulding machine. This is used daily for new product development and testing and to help customers with trialling. Recently we have also installed a new high output dual ultra-mill which will be available for toll processing and the production of other non-rotomolding powders. We have further technical facilities in Poland, Australia and Asia. We are one of the largest suppliers of coloured, compounded powder to the rotomoulding industry in Australia and New Zealand. In 2010 we acquired the business of Vanglobe and in 2015 we acquired the business of Hills Polymers.

"Evergreen was originally founded in 1998 to provide a reliable supply of quality polyester resin to sister company Greenbridge for its portfolio of PET strapping. Thanks to our team, advanced recycling technology and processes, strong customer relationships, and rapidly expanding capacity, Evergreen is among North America’s three largest plastic (PET) recyclers and producer of recycled PET (rPET), with locations in Albany, NY; Clyde, OH; Riverside, CA; and Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada. Each year, we process more than two billion post-consumer PET bottles. We’re also among the largest, if not the largest, producer of food-grade rPET, with an annual capacity of 147 million pounds. That number will grow in June 2022 when our expansion in Clyde comes on line. (Details below.) Evergreen is the preferred supplier of food and non-food grade rPET to top global brands and packaging companies, helping them increase recycled content in their products, meet ESG and sustainability goals, and satisfy consumer preference for “green” packaging. There’s another important side to Evergreen. We partner with municipal and commercial recycling facilities as well as business and industrial customers, purchasing recyclable material. This material is then sorted and made ready for other uses. We employ AI-enabled robotics to accelerate sorting and capture every recyclable bottle that we can. The end goal is to make landfills a thing of the past, help customers achieve sustainability goals and make the circular economy possible for all of us."
