    "Gem Synthetics & Polymer (INDIA) is a resin manufacturing company located in Maharastra - India. The company specializes in the manufacture of tailor made, quality synthetic resins to various Industries like printing ink, paint, foundry, precision casting, adhesives, and insulating varnishes. Gem Synthetics & Polymer (INDIA) is a proprietary firm headed by Mr. P. P. Karle. The company was founded in1972. Mr. Karle earlier worked with Chowghle Hind Pvt. Ltd., which was in collaboration with Chemische Werke Albert, West Germany from 1965-71 where he gained good technical and marketing knowledge in synthetic resins. This gave him the confidence to venture into business and set up his first own manufacturing unit at Ghatkopar Industrial Estate in 1972 (today our company’s corporate office) and with lot of effort and hard work set up his 2nd manufacturing unit at Dombvli in 1978. With increasing demand for our products, led to the setup of Gemsynth Resins Pvt ltd with four times larger capacity at Nagothana in 2001. Gem Synthetics & Polymer (INDIA) with its experience of over four decades has established a good name in the field of specialized resin manufacturing.     SPOLANA s.r.o. (“Spolana”) was founded on 1 May 1992 with the transformation of a state enterprise. Spolana has been part of the ORLEN Unipetrol Group, which is itself part of the PKN Orlen Group, since June 2016. Spolana was a part of the Polish company Zakłady Azotowe ANWIL SA (the company having changed its trade name to ANWIL Spółka Akcyjna on 15 January 2010), which is also part of the PKN Orlen Group, between 2006 and 2016. The company is based in Neratovice, its production plant, covering some 260 hectares, 25 km to the north of Prague on the River Elbe. It currently employs more than 700 members of staff. Spolana mainly concentrates on exporting its products, exporting more than 80 % of that which it produces. The company primarily endeavours to sell its products on the markets of European Union countries having the lowest logistics costs. The Spolana production plant is the only manufacturer of PVC (sold under the name of Neralit®) and caprolactam in the Czech Republic. It also produces sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid, oleum, and sulphuric acid. The company also manufactures industrial fertiliser during the manufacture of caprolactam and containing nitrogen in ammonium form and sulphur in the form of sulphuric anhydride. It also contains a small amount of ammonium nitrate, the concentration of which does not exceed 1.5 %. It is used for direct fertilisation. The fertiliser is sold under the name of Spolsan® and is manufactured in crystalline and granulated form.
