Michem Dispersion Urethanes are water based polyurethane dispersions that can enhance toughness, scratch resistance, water resistance and flexibility of coatings. Michem Dispersion Urethanes are useful for industrial wood, concrete, and metal substrates.

GENIOSIL® STP-E are silane-crosslinking organic polymers that combine properties typical of both silicones and polyurethanes. They are highly versatile yet easy and safe to use as they are isocyanate and solvent-free and  in case of the α-polymers  do not require tin-catalysts for curing.

Laromer® is the trademark for radiation-curable binders and monomers. Laromer® types are unsaturated acrylic ester resins and functional acrylic ester monomers for radiation-curable coatings. Functional acrylic ester monomers are non-volatile reactive thinners that serve both to adjust the processing viscosity and, through incorporation into the cured films, to modify the properties of the final coating. Unsaturated acrylic ester resins, due to their different chemical structures, determine within broad limits the basic properties of coatings. Laromer® UV monomers and oligomers can be used for 100% UV composite systems. In addition Laromer® grades offer possibilities in styrene emission reduction. They also allow changing of the properties of traditional epoxy or unsaturated polyester systems, e.g. an increasing flexibility and/or cohesion of the final composite. Our Laromer® range contains urethane acrylates (aromatic), urethane acrylates (aliphatic, with monomer), reactive diluents, epoxy acrylates (aliphatic & aromatic), amine-modified polyether acrylates (alkoxylated), oligoether acrylates, polyether acrylates (monomer-free, amine-modified), polyester acrylates, Laromer® pigment grinding resin. The Laromer® product line offers high-performance binders, resulting in emission-free energy curing of offset, liquid and screen inks plus overprint varnishes.

This product range is characterized by the following useful properties: high detergency and surface activity, good hard water stability, synergistic effects with other surfactants, favorable environmental characteristics, favorable emulsifying power, chemical stability over a wide pH range and user friendly viscosity and storage behavior. These characteristics make these products an ideal raw material building block for washing powder, detergent tablets, liquid detergents, detergency boosters, all-purpose cleaners, bathroom cleaners, floor cleaners, dishwashing detergents, vehicle cleaners and other defoamer and emulsifier applications.

The NEVOSIL® R product range is composed of special alkyl silicone resin emulsions, which are employed as a main binder in silicone based masonry paints and plasters. Masonry paint products formulated with NEVOSIL® R silicone resin emulsions will form a protective layer on the applied surfaces, and possess superior qualities such as high water vapor and CO2 permeability, low water absorption, low soiling tendency, mineral like appearance, and greater longevity on these surfaces.

Bermocoll is used as a thickener, stabilizer and water-retaining agent for water-based decorative paints. It also controls consistency, providing easy workability, extended open time and enhanced adhesion in cement and gypsum based systems.

LUMIFLON® is the first solvent-soluble fluoropolymer resin for coatings that can be cured at room temperature or at elevated temperatures. SKYBOND is a varnish that is composed of aromatic polyimides, which are one of the most thermally stable organic materials. The products originally developed by Monsanto(USA) are polymide precursors which, when properly cured, yield composites and adhesives with the highest thermal stability of any commercially available resin system. In April 1996, I.S.T acquired the right of manufacture and sales of the varnish. After acquiring SKYBOND, it was manufactured at our I.S.T factory on the premises of Solutia's Indian Orchard plant in Massachusetts. In 2014 we moved SKYBOND® plant to I.S.T New Jersey factory (inside DuPont) and now we are manufacturing SKYBOND in there. Polyimide prepreg or honeycomb composite materials can be made combining SKYBOND with glass, carbon, or aramid fibers, that have superb thermal-resistance and flexibility. In addition the varnish is used as a thermal-resistant adhesive material or sealing agent.
