ResinLab® EP1026 Clear Part A is a two part unfilled epoxy adhesive designed for high speed bonding of metals, ceramics, and most plastics. It cures to a tough semi-rigid material, and is free flowing in viscosity. It gives good resistance to water, salt spray, inorganic acids and bases, and most organic solvents. It was especially formulated to a 1:1 mix ratio for use in either MMD equipment or side-by-side dual cartridges for easy dispensing. A handling cure is normally achieved at room temperature within 20-30 minutes with full cure in 24 hours. An elevated temperature cure schedule can be used to reach final properties quickly.

Detroit Body Filler 72300 is a very flexible, polyester adhesive, reinforced with milled fibers. 72300 has excellent flow, spread, and hang characteristics. 72300 should be used where a bonding putty is required. It can also be used to radius, fill or for fairing. 72300 is designed to stay flexible.

PTM&W Industries, Inc ES6228 is a thin paste viscosity epoxy adhesive designed to provide good bonds to metal surfaces. A unique feature of ES6228 is its ability to bond to slightly oily metal surfaces. This is useful in situations where the complete removal of residual mill oil on metal surfaces is not possible. The thin paste consistency of ES6228 wets the metal surface well for good adhesion. This viscosity also provides some gap filling capabilities, so “close fitting” joints are adequate, and matched-metal joints are not required. ES6228 has a 1 to 1 mix ratio by weight or volume, for easy measuring. The white resin and black hardener combine to a smooth gray system that is easy to mix and apply. The cured material has very good properties, with high bond strength and elongation, for tough, durable assemblies. The Part B1 hardener was developed to provide a faster gel than the standard ES6228 Part B hardener. This combination has a gel time of 25 minutes, and provides cured properties equal to the standard hardener.

PTM&W Industries, Inc ES6249 is a two-component paste epoxy patching and filler compound for foam, wood, fiberglass and other surfaces. The mixed consistency of this system is very smooth and creamy, so it spreads easily, and can be splined to a feather edge without separation. It is a thixotropic, non-sag material that will remain in place in thick sections, even when applied upside down! The resin and hardener of this system are color coded for easy mixing. The resin is white and the hardener is brown, giving a good visual indication of complete mixing with a uniform tan color, free of streaks. ES6249 has special low density fillers incorporated into it that provide very distinct benefits. lt is a very light material (4 pounds per gallon), and therefore contributes minimal added weight to the filled or repaired structure. Also, the cured material is very easy to sand, making the finished patch undetectable when covered or painted. There are no volatile ingredients in ES6249, so the cured material will not outgas, which could cause a loss of adhesion of paint or coverings. ES6249 is a modification of our ES6279 high performance adhesive system, therefore it has excellent adhesion to a wide variety of materials. lt is not corrosive to metals, and will not promote corrosion on these surfaces, so bond line stability and long term adhesion are excellent. ES6249 is a non-toxic material. There are no hazardous or restricted raw materials in either the resin or hardener of this system.
