- Product Highlights
Our high purity calcium oxide desiccants are specially developed by surface modification with a chemically different hydrocarbon agent which increases the shelf life of finished products. These surface modified desiccants (powder & granule form) absorb the inherent & atmospheric moisture during the rubber compounding process thus providing dramatic improvement in porosity potential, reducing cure time and increasing product throughput, promoting even, unblistered, appearance in cured compound & resulting in a reduction of scrap/ reprocessing costs caused by quality failure.
- Features & Benefits
- Tailor made Desiccant better than European origin for extrusion, injection and compression molding
- Restrict blister or porosity formation in highly filled compounds
- Enhances faster dispersion of fillers in polymer matrix
- Improves compound flow properties during processing
- Improves glossiness & surface esthetics
- Eliminates pinholes, blisters & controls scrap generation and lowers reprocessing cost
- Higher shelf life & prevents fly loss of desiccant due to special coating
- Recommended dosage of addition during compounding is 0.5 - 2%
- Reduces cracking problem & eliminates visible specks in finished products
- Ideal for films, injection molded & blow molded articles
