- Features & Benefits
- Delam Engineered Clay is water washed delaminated engineered aluminum silicate, specially designed for automotive coatings. It has low salt content, easy dispersion, good throwing power, and proven performance
- Delam Engineered Clay plays an important role in the manufacture of automotive primers by providing tank stability, film smoothness, corrosion resistance, edge film build, and uniformity
- Salt like chloride and sulfate initiate & accelerate corrosion of steel, and become deeply embedded within the iron corrosion products. The presence of salt is also capable of causing the breakdown of the coating by the mechanism of osmotic blistering
- Delam Engineered Clay is developed in such a way that it can diminish the breakdown process of the coating due to low Salt content
