Packaging & Availability

Packaging

The 3B Chopped Strand Mat is wound on a hard carton tube equivalent to length of mat with an inside hole of 76mm and an external diameter of 82mm. A roll is wrap-ped in polyethylene and packed in corrugated cartons (27cm x 27cm) having standard length. A typical pallet of 110cm x 110cm contains 16 cartons placed on pallet and stretch wrapped with plastic film for protection. Mat is one/both side trimmed. Each roll is identified by label. Each pallet is identified by minimum one pallet label including pallet weight .

Storage & Handling

Storage

Storage vertically in a cool and dry warehouse into the ori-ginal packaging is formally recommanded. More precisely ideal storage conditions are a temperature between 15°C & 35°C and a relative humidity comprised between 35% & 75%. If these conditions are maintained, the glass fiber product should not undergo significant changes when stored for extended periods of time. It is also strongly recommended to condition it in the workshop for at least 24hours before use to prevent condensation. For an optimal processing we recommend to use the product in ambient conditions (20°C-30°C and a relative humidity of 60%-65%).
