Clin-Cat 840 Cationic Corn Starch #028840 is specifically prepared to produce a superior starch for the internal sizing of paper. This product can improve the retention of fillers such as titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, and clay and can be used for ASA-size emulsification. It also exhibits improved retention of fine fibers and sheet strength (i.e., burst strength and Scott bond) and is suitable for use at any paper furnish pH.

Storage & Shelf Life: Clin-Cat 840 is packed in multi-wall bags. Provided that the product is stored in a dry location that is free of infestation, the starch will have an indefinite shelf-life. It is recommended that the inventory be rotated and used within three years. If the product in inventory has sustained minor damage, it should be used as soon as possible to avoid air exposure and caking.
