Clinton 240 Acid Modified Industrial Corn Starch #028240 is a medium-viscosity, acid-modified starch that is employed by the paper and textile industries for size applications, particularly at high temperatures. A benefit of this product is that the hot paste is less viscous than that of an unmodified starch, and at elevated temperatures, the pastes are slightly clearer. For most applications, it is desirable to hold this paste at high temperatures to prevent excessive setback.
