Because of the product's porosity, it has a light scattering effect for cosmetics and acts as a matting agent for coatings. Its particle size distribution is narrow, and hence it can give a single asperity to a thin coating layer.

AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. Fluon+™ FP-EF-101 (464102517) is a 5% glass-reinforced ETFE product designed for use in injection molding or extrusion applications. The glass fibers are added to improve the physical properties of ETFE. This compound is supplied in cylindrical pellet form and the pellets are approximately 0.125” in length by 0.100” in diameter.

AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. Fluon® PFA P-63P is a melt-processible copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and a perfluorinated vinyl ether. It has chemical, electrical, and thermal properties that are similar to polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), but can be processed using conventional extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, and transfer molding techniques. This versatile material can withstand a wide range of temperatures (-200°C to 260°C) and is available in the form of 1/8 inch pellets. It is commonly used in general purpose extrusion and injection molding.
