All-Plus Chemicals APF552(G) is a versatile copolymer created by grafting hydrophilic and hydrophobic monomers from petroleum sources onto a natural polysaccharide skeleton. This special initiation mode results in yellow granules. It finds application as a water treatment scale inhibition dispersant in textiles, for dispersing calcium carbonate and calcium silicate scales, and as an effective scale inhibition and dispersant in high-hardness-water environments.

Hard Water Tolerance:

Due to the adsorption of starch itself and its chemistry of a variety of functional groups, APF552(G) demonstrates exceptional water hardness tolerance compared with the acrylic homopolymer.

Inhibition and dispersion of calcium carbonate and calcium silicate scale

Compared with acrylic polymers on the market, APF552(G)polymer demonstrates strong inhibition ability of calcium carbonate and calcium silicate, meanwhile it can improves the solubility of slightly soluble and low content calcium scale in water. The product not only has a good effect on scale inhibition and dispersion, but also can greatly reduce the redeposition of inorganic scale on fiber and other surfaces.
