EBECRYL® 446 is a modified chlorinated polyester resin diluted in TMPTA (32%), designed primarily for grinding in lithographic ink formulations. This product exhibits excellent pigment wetting and dispersion characteristics. The end uses of EBECRYL® 446 include radiation-curable coatings. It features a range of advantages, such as low energy consumption, a good balance of properties, improved flexibility, long pot life, multi-substrate adhesion, high gloss, faster cycle time, and low-temperature curing. Furthermore, EBECRYL® 446 adheres to labeling claims such as low carbon footprint (PCF), solvent-free, and VOC-free, making it an environmentally friendly choice.

Storage and Handling
Care should be taken not to expose radiation curable products to temperatures exceeding 40°C for prolonged periods or to direct sunlight. This might cause uncontrollable polymerization of the product with generation of heat. Storage and handling should be in stainless steel, amber glass, amber polyethylene or baked phenolic lined containers. Do not store this material under an oxygen free atmosphere. Use dry air to displace material removed from the container. This material should not be stored for more than 2 years.
