EBECRYL® 81 is a radiation-curable coating designed for various applications in the paint and coatings industry. This clear liquid product, which is bisphenol-a-free, low-carbon footprint, solvent-free, and voc-free, finds its place in building and construction paints, wood finishes, industrial coatings, and furniture coatings. It's also utilized in the printing and packaging sectors for packaging coatings, overprint varnishes, and various printing inks like flexography and inkjet ink. With application methods including curtain coating, dip coating, gravure coating, roller, slot-die, and spray, it is primarily compatible with wood substrates.

Formulated UV/EB curable products containing EBECRYL® 81 may be applied viadirect or reverse roll, offset gravure, metering rod, slot die, knife over roll, airknife, curtain, immersion, vacuum, spin and spray coating methods, as well asflexographic printing.

EBECRYL® 81 is recommended for use in:
  • Overprint varnishes
  • Clear coatings for wood, paper and plastics
  • Top coats for wood
  • Flexographic inks and varnishes.
