EBECRYL® 876 is a polyester acrylate resin intended for use in UV/EB curable coating applications, specifically in over-print varnishes (OPVs). This product offers a bisphenol A (BPA)-free alternative to epoxy acrylate-based formulations, delivering comparable performance properties. These properties include a fast cure response, high gloss, hardness, and excellent chemical resistance. EBECRYL® 876 also carries labeling claims of being bisphenol A-free, having a low carbon footprint (PCF), being solvent-free, and VOC-free.

Formulated UV/EB curable products containing EBECRYL® 876 may be applied viadirect or reverse roll, offset gravure, metering rod, slot die, knife over roll, airknife, curtain, immersion and spin coating methods, as well as offset and screenprinting.

EBECRYL® 876 is recommended in:
  • Overprint varnishes
  • Clear coatings for paper and plastics.
