Oligonol® is a lychee derived polyphenol product which has a high proportion of low-molecular-weight polyphenols due to our unique proprietary manufacturing process. While the molecular size of polyphenols is mostly too large to be easily absorbed by the body, Oligonol® has 2 to 8 times higher proportion of monomers and oligomers and is expected to display higher absorption rate than other polyphenol products on the market.

Oligonol® has been confirmed its safety by various tests including reverse mutation study, phase I human clinical trial, single-dose toxicity study, micronucleus test, 90-day repeated dose study and 3-month human clinical trial, conducted under Good Laboratory Practice. With its proven safety, Oligonol was notified as a New Dietary Ingredient (NDI) to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the US in 2007 and acknowledged with no objection. Oligonol® also received GRAS no objection letter in 2014.
