    Chemical Properties

OMACIDE™ IPBC 30 Fungicide is effective in products having a wide pH range (2 to 10). Laboratory evaluations are, however, recommended since IPBC products can sometimes induce yellowing in certain formulations, especially those containing resins based on styrenated polymers. In addition, IPBC may dehydrohalogenate in certain formulations, leading to corrosion of metal containers.
