The material was developed specially for applications in the field of electrical engineering and is very well suited for shielding electromagnetic fields. BARLOG plastics GmbH Kebaflex® / SG 85 HT A.01 is a TPE-S, Shore A85, with improved compression set at high temperatures. It is available in various Shore hardnesses from below A10 to more than D50 and is often used as a substitute for rubber due to the cost-effective processing in the injection molding process. It is soft and flexible, can be colored freely, shows good elastic behavior up to 100°C and is pleasant to the touch.
