Liposovit-C™ is liposomal vitamin C available in the form of a homogeneous powder, intended for multi-factorial support of the body in states of increased demand for L-ascorbic acid. Works of the Research &amp; Development Department of BART allowed us to achieve liposomes composed of a single bilayer of phosphatidylcholine (lecithin) molecules, which is the external barrier of the liposomal vesicle and entraps L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C) molecules in the aqueous phase (Figure 1). These liposomes are then subjected to drying process, which largely determines the special properties of the product.
