Cremophor® RH 40 is a nonionic multipurpose solubilizer and emulsifying agent that can be used to solubilize ethereal oils, perfume compositions, vitamins, and hydrophobic active substances in aqueous-alcoholic and purely aqueous solutions. It is composed of hydrogenated castor oil with approximately 40 moles of ethylene oxide. Cremophor® RH 40 appears as a white paste with a faint odor.

Vit-A-Like® PW LS 9898 is an alternative to retinol that has a comparable mechanism of action, equivalent performance, but with improved tolerance and stability. Retinol, a form of vitamin A, is considered as a benchmark for anti-aging products. Retinol, however, can be unstable and difficult to work with and can induce skin irritation, making it incompatible for sensitive skin formulations. In response to these issues, BASF developed Vit-A-Like™.

Lipofructyl™ Cyperus LS 9892 is derived from the oil obtained by cold pressing the dried tubers of Cyperus esculentus or "tigernut". This universal oil is useful in a wide range of skin and hair care products. It improves the shine and ease of combing in hair, and its moisturizing properties give skin comfort and softness.

Dehymuls® CO 7 is a water-in-oil (W/O) emulsifier that is suitable for a wide range of water-in-oil skin care emulsions. It is a viscous liquid composed of ethoxylated hydrogenated castor oil, and can be used for various applications such as after sun, baby care and cleansing, body care, face care, personal care wipes, self tanning, and sun protection.

Dehyquart® A CA is a cationic surfactant commonly used as a conditioning agent in hair conditioning creams and emulsions. It appears as a clear liquid with characteristic inherent odor and is used as a hair conditioner and for hair coloring and shampooing.

Cegesoft® PFO is an emollient from the passionflower seeds. This product gives a pleasant and silky feeling comparable to that of evening primrose oil. Its slow spreading behavior gives it a long-term skin feeling. This product has a high content of linoleic acid, or omega-6, an essential fatty acid. It is a pale, yellow oil that is almost odorless.

Cetiol® C5 is a naturally based, light emollient for skin care applications. It is approved by natural certifications around the world. It is a fast-spreading emollient with a pleasant, dry skin feel. Cetiol® C 5 is particularly designed to offer a good alternative to volatile silicones like cyclomethicones. It works well in face and body care applications as well as wipes, hair care, and sun care.

Biophytex® LS 9832 is a soothing botanical complex that is rich in saponosides and flavonoids. Its comforting effect can help to alleviate the appearance of couperose and eye bags, bringing a healthy and even tone to sensitive and reactive skin. This product is suitable for use in skin care treatments and serums, eye treatments, face care, and cosmetics applications.

Lutensol® AT 25 Powder is a C16C18 fatty alcohol ethoxylate that functions as a viscosity enhancer, allowing dispersions to exhibit high mechanical and electrolyte stability as well as a small particle size. It serves as an emulsifying agent and can be used as an additive, dispersant, or co-surfactant.

Gluadin® Kera-P LM is suitable for hair care products that require effective repair and restructuring benefits. Gluadin® Kera-P LM consists of low-molecular-weight vegetable peptides obtained through the enzymatic hydrolysis of vegetable protein. It is capable of penetrating the hair shaft deeply. In particular, it is suitable for hair care products, which require effective repair and restructuring benefits.

Glucopon® 215 UP is a short-chain APG sold as a liquid of 63.5% concentration. This mid-chain APG surfactant has moderate hydrotropic ability and high foam, providing good primary cleaning. It is 100% derived from renewable resources and is used as a mild degreaser and foaming/stabilizing surfactant that won't damage even floor finishes. It has excellent gloss retention and plastic compatibility, and contains no biocide for preservation. It is listed on the EPA’s Safer Chemical Ingredients List and is approved for direct release to the environment.

Verdessence™ Alginate (formerly Hydagen® 558P) is an algae-based, natural rheology modifier that also provides an enhanced feel on the skin, making it suitable for skin care formats. In hair applications, it acts as a multifunctional styling fixative and rheology modifier, providing a natural hold and long-lasting curl definition, even in high humidity.

Tinovis® ADE is an anionic acrylic copolymer dispersed in a hydrogenated polydecene carrier phase. It is designed for use in a range of applications in the cosmetics industry, specifically in skin creams, moisturizers, and toners. This product is used to enhance the performance of skin care formulations with a typical application level in a skin cream of approximately 1% polymer as supplied. Tinovis® ADE primarily functions as a thickener, gelling agent, and promotes good spreading characteristics. It also serves as an opacifier and a spreading and stabilizing agent.

BETAPUR® is a carefully selected plant extract that helps soothe irritated skin, reduce the look of imperfections on acne-prone skin, and reduce the appearance of oily skin. Lamesoft® PO 65 is preferably used as a lipid layer enhancer for the production of surfactant cleansing preparations. On account of its viscosity-increasing properties, Lamesoft® PO 65 contributes to the viscosity formation in cosmetic cleansing preparations such as shower gels, foam baths, shampoos, and baby products.

Salcare® SC 80 UP is an alkali soluble associative thickener designed for use in a range of applications in the cosmetics industry. Provides viscosity building, associative rheology, and electrolyte tolerance to personal care products. It is typically used to enhance the performance of skin and hair care formulations where a clear gel is required.

Hyalurosmooth® PW LS 8997 is a natural, botanically derived, high molecular weight polysaccharide from the seeds of the Indian plant Cassia angustifolia, commonly known as senna. The polysaccharides form a protective film on the skin that strongly binds water and fills in fine lines. By providing intense moisturization the skin appears additionally plumped up, which further contributes to reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles and smoothing the skin's surface. As a result of the smoother surface, light reflection is also improved, leading to increased skin radiance.

Cegesoft® Peel is a spherically shaped wax bead that provides a gentle and mild exfoliation. Mainly derived from natural and renewable resources, Cegesoft® Peel is a readily biodegradable and environmentally friendly alternative to non-degradable beads and sharp-edged abrasives. It is suitable for vegan and biodegradable rinse-off formulation concepts.

Phytosoothe® LS 9766 helps to protect the skin barrier, which is essential for the body's defense against the environment. The stratum corneum's lipids and structural elements create a physical barrier, while microorganisms on the skin surface and deeper layers form the microbiotic barrier, which defends against pathogens. However, both barriers are vulnerable to damage from environmental factors. Phytosoothe® LS 9766 accelerates the skin's natural recovery after impairment, supporting a healthy microflora, increasing hydration, and reducing trans-epidermal water loss.

Plantacare® 818 UP is a mild, non-ionic surfactant that is suitable for use as a base surfactant or co-surfactant in cosmetic cleansing preparations. It is a cloudy, viscous aqueous solution of a C8-C16 fatty alcohol glycoside. Applications include skin care, hair care, and oral care.

Cegesoft® C 24 is an emollient with medium spreadability suitable for a variety of skincare applications. It has a mean polarity with a mean molecular weight. Its applications include skin care, cleanser, sun care, hair care, hair color, bath and body products, personal care, men's body care, antiperspirants, and deodorants, face care, and self-tanning.

Lanette® SX is a cream base for cosmetic oil-in-water emulsions used for skin and hair care. It is self-emulsifying and anionic in nature, and is an alternative to stearate-based cream bases. It is composed of a mixture of cetylstearyl alcohol and an anionic emulsifier, and appears as white pellets with a faint intrinsic odor.

Hydagen® Cat is a colorless, practically odorless liquid composed of Triethyl citrate, an active ingredient used in personal care products such as deodorants, antiperspirants, and personal care wipes. It has excellent deodorant properties and is supplied as an oily liquid.

Dehymuls® E is a mixture of higher molecular fatty acid esters, fatty acid salts, and oil binding additives. It is a W/O cream base suitable for various W/O skin care emulsions. It is supplied as yellowish, wax-like pellets with an inherent odor.

Nephydrat™ BC10061 is an extract of rambutan peel that helps to moisturize the skin, increase skin elasticity, and reduce wrinkle appearance to make the skin look visibly younger. Cegesoft® PS 6 is a slow-spreading emollient that gives a luxurious, long-lasting feel on the skin. Its spreading properties are similar to those of paraffin oil and it is based on a special canola oil high in erucic acid and with a high content of oleic (omega-9) and linoleic (omega-6) acid. It is a clear, slightly yellow, and odorless oil.

Cetiol® SoftFeel is the newest soft-solid emollient developed by BASF Care Creations®. It is made from 100% renewable ingredients and is 100% naturally derived, according to ISO 16128. The versatile ingredient helps to moisturize and leave a soft feeling on the skin. For hair care applications, Cetiol® SoftFeel helps improve the wet and dry combability. It gently manages the frizz of curly hair without weighing it down and offers nourishment to damaged, coily hair. It can also act as a clean alternative to petroleum-based petrolatum, as the ingredients have very similar sensory and occlusivity properties. Cetiol® SoftFeel is applicable in a variety of beauty and personal care applications.

Plantapon® LC 7 is an anionic surfactant that is suitable for use in a range of personal care cleansing products, including mild shampoos, shower and bath preparations, facial washes, and cleansing wipes. It is particularly well-suited for use in formulations intended for skin care and hair care.

Verdessence™ RiceTouch is a 100% plant-based sensory powder that offers a powdery, light, and smooth skin-feel, with a small particle size, making it ideal for matte-type cosmetics. It is perfectly suitable for natural and organic cosmetics, and can be used in applications such as skin care, cleanser, sun care, hair care, bath and body, and face care.

Eumulgin® VL 75 is a universally applicable, non-ionic emulsifier for the production of cosmetic oil-in-water emulsions. It is a clear to slightly turbid, yellowish, viscous liquid with an inherent odor. Natural based, emulsifier for skin care emulsions, especially suitable for low-viscous systems like lotions and sprays, high versatility regarding oil phase, very good make-up remover capacity, very good skin compatibility, cold processable, alternative to EO- or sulfate-based, emulsifier technology.

BASF HD-Eutanol V is a medium-spreading emollient suitable for all cosmetic applications. It is supplied as a clear, slightly yellowish, almost odorless weak oil. Its applications include skin care, cleanser, sun care, mother and baby products, hair care, shampoo and conditioner, hair color, bath and body products, men's skin care, antiperspirants and deodorants, face care, and self-tanning.

Luvigel® Star AT3 is an associative thickener for emulsions that performs in a wide pH range (2 - 12) even under tight conditions, such as high electrolyte content. Additionally, it stabilizes very good air bubbles (e.g., for mousse applications). This polymer provides a dry and waxy after-feel.

Ciste'M BC10023™ is an extract of rockrose adapted to an arid climate. It protects skin from the aging effects of outdoor sun exposure, air pollutants, and indoor exposure to blue light. Skin aging is driven by several complex factors, including damage from light. Blue light radiating from cell phones or computers or UVB radiation from the sun can deeply penetrate the skin and damage the dermis.

Cutina® HR Flakes is a cosmetic ingredient that serves as a thickener, gelling agent, and stabilizer. Its INCI name is Hydrogenated Castor Oil. It is commonly used in beauty and personal care products such as antiperspirants, deodorants, and liquid soap.
