Kollicoat® Smartseal 30 D is insoluble in water (neutral pH) and dissolves quickly under protonation at pH-values of 5.5 and below due to the defined number of basic functional groups. It is a co-polymer comprising methyl methacrylate (MMA) and diethylaminoehtylmethacrylate (DEAEMA) in the ratio 6:4.
