Luvigel® Star AT3 is an associative thickener for emulsions that performs in a wide pH range (2 - 12) even under tight conditions, such as high electrolyte content. Additionally, it stabilizes very good air bubbles (e.g., for mousse applications). This polymer provides a dry and waxy after-feel.

Cutina® GMS-SE is a glyceryl stearate that is a self-emulsifying base suitable for the preparation of cosmetic oil-in-water emulsions for skin, bath and body, face care, mother and baby, and hair care. It is a white to off-white powder with a mild, faint odor.

Cosmedia® SP is an emulsifying polymer with stabilizing, thickening, and emulsifying properties. It has good spreadability and an exceptional sensory profile, offering the ability to achieve light textures, as well as a silky, velvety, and non-tacky after-feel in different types of applications. The easy-to-formulate and cold-processable solution is free of preservatives and suitable for EO-free products.

Dehymuls® CO 7 is a water-in-oil (W/O) emulsifier that is suitable for a wide range of water-in-oil skin care emulsions. It is a viscous liquid composed of ethoxylated hydrogenated castor oil, and can be used for various applications such as after sun, baby care and cleansing, body care, face care, personal care wipes, self tanning, and sun protection.

Verdessence™ Tara is a 100% plant-based rheology modifier that enables the creation of smooth and shapely textures. It is suitable for verified eco-friendly aqueous and emulsion systems, acting as an effective thickener and texture enhancer. It also brings sustainability to the table with non-GMO sourcing, no preservatives, and a readily biodegradable composition.

Eperuline® PW LS 9627 is an aqueous extract from the bark of the tree Eperua falcata Aubl that has anti-irritation properties. Our bodies perform less efficiently with age; the once well-oiled cell machinery deteriorates, and we become more sensitive to environmental changes. Everyday aggressors such as UV and pollution trigger the release of pro-inflammatory markers that cause low-grade chronic inflammation that is distributed across the body. This mechanism, known as inflamm'aging, results in permanent, silent, and invisible inflammation. It causes cell degeneration and damages the tissues that maintain the inflammation, leading to accelerated aging. To break the vicious circle of silent inflammation, BASF experts developed Eperuline® PW. By fighting against age-related chronic micro-inflammation, it helps improve skin's firmness, elasticity, and tonicity, while reducing the appearance of sagging to maintain a youthful look.

Hyaluronic Filling Spheres® are based on the use of a hygroscopic material to make a sphere. These spheres are dehydrated at first and fill up with water within the skin. This hydration process causes a change in volume proportional to the spheres’ moisture-retaining capacity. Hyaluronic Filling Spheres™ help to smooth the look of deep wrinkles through biotechnology in eye application for mature skin, anti-wrinkle skin care, deep wrinkle skin care ("elevens" wrinkles, forehead wrinkles, nasogenian folds), and intense moisturizing skin care.

Tinogard® TL is a broad-spectrum UV light stabilizer that protects light-sensitive colorants, fragrances, and actives from photolytic degradation. It reduces the viscosity loss of acrylate-based gels and inhibits light-induced yellowing. Tinogard® TL is non-ionic, oil- and alcohol-soluble, and can be easily incorporated into oil- or aqua-based systems. It usually needs to be pre-mixed with a fragrance, emollient, non-ionic surfactant, or solubilizer.

Lox-age® supports the body's ability to release the skin's own multi-active LOX, which helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and pore visibility and smooth the skin's surface for a youthful and radiant look. Aggressive medical resurfacing procedures may offer similar results, but these can destabilize the epidermal structure and integrity. This all-natural, plant-based active ingredient noticeably improves skin smoothness and youthfulness and adds a highly appealing, verifiable claim to various anti-aging products with a clinical efficacy similar to retinol. Lox-age®improves epidermal architecture and is perceived to be as effective as retinol for improving wrinkles and skin appearance.

Myritol® 331 is a modified coconut oil. It is a medium-spreading emollient with very good emulsifiability. It is particularly suited for sun care formulations due to its solubilizing capacity for crystalline UV filters and dispersing properties for pigments. This product is a low-viscous, clear, slightly yellowish oil.

Rheocare® C Plus is a cosmetic ingredient with thickening properties that can be used in a variety of personal care products, including wet wipes, rinse-off applications, hair color, and hair styling products. It is formulated with Carbomer and is available in a powder form.

BASF Retinol 10 SU is an active ingredient for the cosmetics industry. It counteracts skin aging and improves the appearance of UV-damaged skin. It is soluble in soybean oil and has an assay of approximately 10%. This product is supplied as a yellow oil with crystals at low temperatures.

Dehyquart® F 75 T is a quaternary compound of conditioning and emulsifying ingredients. This product is suited for the preparation of hair conditioning creams and emulsions. Its typical application concentrations are 2 - 5%. Due to the high content of quaternary ammonium salt, the addition of further consistency giving factors like, e.g., Lanette® O, is recommended. Dehyquart® F 75 T is a white to yellowish wax-like product that is supplied in pellets. It has a cationic surfactant (MW 800) of 65 - 72%, an acid value of 5 - 12, a pH value (5%) of 2.0 - 3.5, and a color gardner of 0 - 4. The most favorable conditioning and stability properties are obtained in a pH range of 3 - 5.

Hispagel® Oil LV can primarily be used as a lubricant, sensory modifier, and moisturizing agent due to its rheological properties, water solubility, and hydration capacity. Hispagel® Oil LV is commonly used in cosmetic products for skin care and hair treatment.

Sveltine® ST BC10032 helps in reducing fat and adipogenesis. Its key ingredients are maltodextrin and lythrum salicaria extract, both of natural origin. It is suitable for vegan, palm-free, and natural formulations with a clean label and no added preservatives. This cosmetic ingredient is ideal for use in skin care formulations, particularly in beauty and skin care products. It is available in liquid form. This cosmetic ingredient is certified by COSMOS, IECIC (China), and ISO 16128.

Neutrol® TE is a neutralizing agent that is used for carbomer resins (e.g., in the production of gels). It is a clear, viscous liquid that is commonly used in baby care and cleansing, body care, face cleansing, hair coloring, shower/bath products, styling, etc.

Irwinol® LS 9890 is derived from the wax of the bush mango. Irwinol® is a botanical butter made mainly of triglycerides of saturated fatty acids. It forms a substantive protective film on skin that softens the skin, causing it to feel repaired immediately after application without any oily feeling.

Emulgade® NLB is a well-balanced, robust, nonionic cream base that is suitable for low pH values, low viscosities, and high levels of electrolytes, like in AP/deo roll-ons and O/W lotions. It is supplied in white, colorless, wax-like pellets with a faint, characteristic odor.

Eumulgin® CO 60 is a nonionic O/W emulsifier and/or solubilizer that is used to produce aqueous cosmetic preparations such as solubilisates and tonics. As a solubilizer, it is suitable for all kinds of O/W skincare emulsions. It is supplied as a white, lard-like fat mass with a mild odor.

Dehyquart® L 80 T is a conditioning agent that is suitable for all kinds of hair care products such as shampoos and conditioners, as well as skin care cleansers and face care products, and pet care products, subject to quantity restrictions.

Eumulgin® S 20 is a non-ionic emulsifier and solubilizer used in cosmetic and pharmaceutical preparations. It is a clear, light yellow to brownish-yellow liquid with a faint odor. The product offers benefits for both skin care and hair and scalp care.

Cosmedia® DC is a multifunctional ingredient that acts as a substantive cationic compound, offering water resistance in sun care formulations and playing a vital role in achieving a unique sensorial profile along with an initial moisture boost. It mainly functions as a water-resistant polymer.

Hydrasensyl® Glucan Green merges the beneficial properties of hyaluronic acid and collagen. Its structure enables Hydrasensyl® Glucan to bind large amounts of water in the skin like a natural water super-absorber. At the same time, the polysaccharide chains are intertwined to form a rope-like, highly resilient triple helix like collagen. This 3D structure makes Hydrasensyl® Glucan highly stable and insensitive to harsh formulation conditions. Besides its clinically demonstrated skin smoothing and hydrating properties, it helps to reduce the appearance of redness.

VEGESERYL® HGP LS 9874 is a plant-based skin care ingredient that is designed to provide lifting and tightening effects. It is composed of native high molecular weight soy proteins that help reduce wrinkles, firm the skin, and improve its elasticity and suppleness.

Cetiol® CC is an innovative, fast-spreading, dry emollient that can significantly improve the sensory performance of the final formulation. Its ability to dissolve crystalline UV filters and disperse pigments makes it particularly suitable for sun care products. Cetiol® CC is also suitable for use in aerosols, as it effectively dissolves perfume and propellants, with applications specifically including body care, face care, antiperspirants/deodorants, baby care and sun care.

Ultra Filling Spheres® C00487 technology is based on the ability of dehydrated and cross-linked spheres to penetrate the upper layers of the epidermis and to absorb the water that evaporates from the deep dermis. Thanks to their hygroscopic properties, the volume of the spheres increases rapidly. Thus inflated, they tighten the skin, causing wrinkles to appear smoothed and leaving a skin surface that feels elastic with long lasting hydration.

Neurobiox® BC10097 is a natural active that has extraordinary effects on the skin. By using it, the imperfections appear to be erased, wrinkles and pores look reduced, and the skin is left feeling velvety soft. It was developed by the beauty care solutions team in response to the consumer's quest for radiance and a desire to blur skin imperfections. Neurobiox® also enhances the appearance of skin luminosity and can be used for any global anti-aging product.

Cegesoft® PS 6 is a slow-spreading emollient that gives a luxurious, long-lasting feel on the skin. Its spreading properties are similar to those of paraffin oil and it is based on a special canola oil high in erucic acid and with a high content of oleic (omega-9) and linoleic (omega-6) acid. It is a clear, slightly yellow, and odorless oil.

Cutina® CP is a cetyl palmitate fatty acid ester for use as an emollient. It is a consistency wax used for viscosity adjustment in O/W emulsions. It is used in baby care and cleansing products, antiperspirants and deodorants, body care, face care, etc.

BASF HD-Eutanol V is a medium-spreading emollient suitable for all cosmetic applications. It is supplied as a clear, slightly yellowish, almost odorless weak oil. Its applications include skin care, cleanser, sun care, mother and baby products, hair care, shampoo and conditioner, hair color, bath and body products, men's skin care, antiperspirants and deodorants, face care, and self-tanning.

Lanette® 18 is a hydrophilic waxy substance that is derived from stearyl alcohol and is used to regulate the viscosity in oil-in-water emulsions. It comes in the form of white to light yellowish pellets or flakes, and is beneficial for both skin care and hair and scalp care products.

Vit-A-Like® PW LS 9898 is an alternative to retinol that has a comparable mechanism of action, equivalent performance, but with improved tolerance and stability. Retinol, a form of vitamin A, is considered as a benchmark for anti-aging products. Retinol, however, can be unstable and difficult to work with and can induce skin irritation, making it incompatible for sensitive skin formulations. In response to these issues, BASF developed Vit-A-Like™.

Dermican® PW LS 9838 is a synthetic tetrapeptide that helps counteract this by improving skin’s natural firmness and thickness for a comprehensive anti-aging effect. As people age, they tend to lose the skin’s ability to synthesize collagen decreases, resulting in thinner, frailer skin. Dermican® PW LS 9838 helps with counteracting this process.

BETAPUR® is a carefully selected plant extract that helps soothe irritated skin, reduce the look of imperfections on acne-prone skin, and reduce the appearance of oily skin.
