Key Attributes

SCHWEGO foam 6360 is a product with interfacial activity which suppresses the formation of entrapped air in UV coatings, i.e. air bubbles are destroyed before the film dries. Cratering is prevented and leveling is promoted.

Processing Information

SCHWEGO foam 6360 should be incorporated at the beginning of the production. Optimal is an addition before grinding of the pigments. Post addition is possible, provided SCHWEGO foam 6360 is homogeneously distributed. The dosage of SCHWEGO foam 6360 is 0.1 - 1.0 %, calculated on total formulation and is depending on system. Predilution with one of the solvents of the formulation is advisable.

Do not store SCHWEGO foam 6360 at temperatures below 0 °C. Stir it up before use. Keep it in a cool, well-ventilated place. Subject to appropriate storage, the described properties of SCHWEGO foam 6360 remain stable for at least 2 years, provided the original container is closed after use.
