Rheological additive for water-based coating systems, free of VOC, APEO and organotin. SCHWEGO pur 8025 is suitable for interior and exterior wall paints as well as for synthetic resin renderings and trowelling compounds or paste fillers based on polyacrylics, styrene copolymers, PU-dispersions or water thinnable alkyd systems. The high gloss retention is shown to particular advantage in glossy emulsion paints when compared with acrylic or cellulose based thickening additives.

SCHWEGO pur 8025 improves storage stability and decreases splattering, sagging and through skinning of during application. SCHWEGO pur 8025 may be combined with other thickening additives such as cellulose ethers, bentonites or polyacrylics. SCHWEGO pur 8025 is especially suitable for solvent free systems as it contains only water.
