CompactCel® FLO is a flow agent for loosening powder mixtures and improving flowability. The ready-touse powder compound replaces synthetic additives such as silicon dioxide. BIOGRUND’s one-step lubricant premix CompactCel® LUB enhances the flow of tablet production by reducing friction between particles at the interface between the tablet and the die wall. The lubricant reduces wear on punches and prevents sticking to punch faces. Furthermore CompactCel® LUB is also suitable for filling and closing hard gelatin capsules to achieve a smooth filling process.

Biogrund's ready-to-use excipient premix BonuWax® for hot melt coating is a water and solvent free application and provides good moisture sealing, taste masking and stability for granules and particles. BonuWax®, consisting of carnauba and/or beeswax plus two additional lipids, has a suitable melting temperature and is easy to apply on particles and granules by a fluid bed coating process. BonuWax® can be sprayed with a 100% solid content which leads to a high productivity.

The ingredient premix CompactCel® MAB provides an oil and moisture holding capacity and prevents clumping of your powder blend. The homogeneous dry powder product controls humidity related issues in formulas or absorbs oily substances into free flowing powder.

AquaPolish® SR creates a strong and insoluble film coating with good adhesion, through which the active ingredient diffuses. The use of highquality, insoluble cellulose ethers or Ammonio Methacrylate Copolymer (Type A, Type B) in combination with soluble cellulose ethers, plasticizing and coloring additives, guarantees film coatings that are always reproducible. The dry powder compound BonuTab® contains fillers, binders, disintegrant, lubricants and – if required – pigments for coloring issues. It is a unique, dry milled, homogeneous blend of selected filmforming polymers with coloring and a few plasticizing additives. AquaPolish® PVA is a combination of polyvinyl alcohol and optional HPC, which gives excellent moisture sealing by using aqueous solvent applications.

AquaPolish® TC is a combination of HPMC, HPC and other cellulose ethers with taste masking additives. Due to the further additives, which form a hardly soluble film, a tastemasking is achieved.

CompactCel® DIS is a natural/organic super-disintegrant which enables a rapid break-up of solid dosage forms when they come into contact with moisture. The super-disintegrant premix is formulated with natrual ingredients which complies with current Clean Label Standards. It provides an alternative to synthetic super-disintegrants, such as crosslinked polymers, crosscarmellose sodium or sodium starch glycolate. CompactCel® DIS helps in the fast breakdown of the solid dosage form so that the active ingredient becomes bioavailable faster and is readily absorbed. It can be also used in the formulation of oral disintegrating tablets (ODT) or chewing tablets.
