Bomar™ BR-641D is a Polybutadiene (PBD) urethane acrylate, which was designed to meet rigorous electronic coating applications. This oligomer has exceptional adhesion to various metals, glass,and polycarbonate substrates. BR-641D has many desirable properties that are typical to PBD resins, combined with radiation curability. In applications requiring thermal cycling resistance, BR-641D withstands the extremes of temperature typical of such tests, without undue degradation of properties. In addition to the adhesion properties listed in the table below, BR-641D showed excellent adhesion to PMMA, ABS, PVC, Nylon-6, Polystyrene,and Polypropylene.

BR-5541M is a flexible polyether urethane methacrylate oligomer diluted in 20% IBOA with a low modulus, good adhesion to a variety of substrates, and excellent elasticity. The high molecular weight of the backbone structure offers improved elasticity and rebound versus similar high elongation materials. The low modulus of the material allows for a high degree of flexibility comparable to silicone-based materials such as BRS-14320S, but with improved compatibility and surface cure. The compressibility of the material also offers potential usage in gasket and sealing applications.

BRC-4421 is a difunctional, hydrophobic urethane acrylate that can be formulated into chemical and temperature resistant coatings and resins. The material has low color and excellent adhesion to a wide variety of plastics. The material can be formulated into tough, impact resistant 3D printing resinswith excellent flexibility. It’s ultra-low water absorption makes this an excellent choice for moisture sensitive or hydrophobic applications

BR-541MB is a difunctional aliphatic polyether urethane methacrylate. BR-541MB is used for its desirable balance of toughness and flexibility and its ability to adhere to a variety of substrates. This oligomer is an excellent candidate to consider for use in impact-resistant coatings on various substrates when used with BR-543MB. This material has low skin sensitivity and is INCI registered for compliance in cosmetic applications

BR-371MS, a low molecular weight, difunctional, aliphatic polyether urethane methacrylate oligomer, is a great fit for coatings that require high tensile strength, extremely low color, superior hardness, scratch resistance, and weathering resistance. BR-371MS provdes very low color and a high viscosity, ideal for hard gel nail coatings, and offers reduced heat generation vs other high tensile strength materials.

Bomar™ BR-741MD1 is an aliphatic, difunctional polyester urethane acrylate offering excellent adhesion and flexibility. While not limited to these applications, BR-741MD1 is an effective choice in optically clear coatings and inks for plastics and metals. This oligomer is also perfect for UV & LED nail gel coatings because this material has low skin sensitivity and is INCI listed.

BR-441BI20 is a fast-curing, high tensile strength, low molecular weight aliphatic polyester urethane acrylate with low color, high hardness, and excellent adhesion to plastic substrates. BR-441BI20 can be considered for use in high tensile strength overprint varnishes, high tensile strength 3D printing resins, and non-yellowing coatings.

BR-7432GB, an aliphatic polyester urethane diacrylate, formulates into applications requiring adhesion to various substrates and applications such as thermoforming resistant coatings where toughness and flexibility are required. BR-7432GB provides excellent balance of weathering, solvent resistance, tensile strength, and adhesion properties.BR-7432GB is an incredibly tough, elastomeric material with similar mechanical performance to cast urethanes, and can provide excellent impact resistance and weatherability to formulations. BR-7432GB also has low MeHQ for nail gel polish applications.

Bomar™ BR-744SD is a difunctional, aliphatic polyester urethane acrylate offering excellent adhesion, flexibility, and tensile strength. It can be effectively formulated for adhesion to steel, aluminum, and various plastics. Products formulated with BR-744SD can be highly flexible, elastomeric, and tacky. It is excellent as an adhesion promoter or reactive tackifier, and is a perfect choice for optically clear UV-PSAs.

BR-771F is a low molecular weight oligomer with a good balance of high tensile strength and moderate elongation with an excellent cure speed. BR-771F exhibits excellent adhesion to plastic substrates, particularly polycarbonate. Formulations made with BR-771F can exhibit superior toughness properties with a high Tg. Its inherently low color and aliphatic backbone make BR-771F an excellent candidate for polycarbonate coatings and adhesives

BR-7432GI30, an aliphatic polyester urethane diacrylate, formulates into applications requiring adhesion to various substrates and applications where excellent toughness and flexibility are required. The BR-7432GI30 backbone performs very well in extended weatherability studies. Itis an excellent choice for impact and bend resistant coatings, and can act as an impact modifier for composite applications

BR-742M is a medium molecular weight, difunctional, aliphatic polyester urethane methacrylate offering excellent adhesion, flexibility, and hardness balance. BR-742M offers an excellent balance of gloss, low heat generation, low color, and low MeHQ for nail coating applications. It canalso be effectively formulated for adhesion to steel, aluminum, and glass. Due to its low solvent resistance, it can be formulated into solvent strippable temporary coatings. This material has low skin sensitivity for dental and cosmetic applications.

Bomar BR-116 oligomer, a trifunctional, aromatic polyether urethane methacrylate, is used in the manufacture of soft coatings and adhesives which are made to adhere to metals and glass. BR-116 offers superior bond strength and excellent reduction capabilities in common monomers.

MechT E35A is a stable dispersion of discrete functionalized carbon nanotubes in urethane dimethacrylate [UDMA], BR-952. The Masterbatch can be used in rigid, high tensile strength SLA, DLP, or jettable resins to provide conductivity and decreased resistivity. When compared to FDM-printed ESD parts, ESD resins produced with MechT E35A can achieve fully isotropic conductivity with high resolution and isotropic mechanical properties.

LumiSet TM LSR-141 is a urethane methacrylate polymeric resin designed for use in base and color coat applications for hybrid and long-wear nail lacquers. Synthesized using building blocks from nail gel chemistries, LSR-141 is a solvent-borne film-forming resin that can offer nail lacquer formulators the benefits of adhesion and durability from nail gels while also achieving a tack-free finish without the need for UV or LED lamps. The combination of excellent adhesion, flexibility, and toughness offers formulators an alternative to other leachable plasticizers or potentially toxic adhesion promoters. The excellent adhesion of LSR-141 allows for the combination of color and base coats into one step. Base and color coats formulated with LSR-141 should also be paired with a hydrophobic top coat due to the hydrophilic nature of LSR-141. LSR-141 is INCI registered, and can be formulated to cure with sunlight exposure using appropriate INCI-registered photoinitiators. A non-reactive alternative version of LSR-141 is available as LSR-141N.
