Our aromatic oils incorporate a special type of oil with the addition of fresh herbs, spices and other ingredients which are macerated and infused for a period of between 1 hour up to 3 days, depending on the requirements of each case and each formula. So we obtain the most delicious and fresh oils with real flavor and no added products. Furthermore, the bottles contain a small amount of the ingredients of each variety to make them more attractive to the consumer.

Borges has produced its own High Oleic Sunflower oil since 1982 and has had contracts with cooperatives and producers to ensure supply, traceability and quality control from the field to our customers. “High-oleic” sunflower oil is similar in composition to olive oil. This type of oil is obtained from seeds of special sunflower varieties, rich in that oleic acid and represents an interesting offer for its good nutritional design and affordable price. In Borges we have developed our own varieties that allow us to ensure the highest quality and oleic acid content.

Olive Oil is a blend of refined olive oil and extra virgin olive oil. Depending on the quantity and quality of extra virgin oil added.

Borges offers a wide range of vinegars and all the advice in the search and selection of the best alternatives. Our specialized team of professionals has the experience, technology and logistics needed to convert each of the needs of our customers in effective and profitable solutions.

Grape seed oil is obtained from the grapes used for wine production. These seeds have a yield of between 6 and 20% for obtaining oil. It is a fruity taste oil with a very high smoke point (216°C) and a very healthy nutritional profile. Borges is one of the largest operators in the world in the production of this oil and ensures full product traceability.

Olive-Pomace Oil is mixture of refined pomace oil and virgin olive oil, also according to customer specifications. Borges always guarantee the consistency of taste, smell and type of oil throughout the year, and year after year.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil contains maximum acidity of 0.8º organoleptic assessment with absolutely perfect aroma and taste.

Virgin Olive Oil contains maximum acidity of 2º – Organoleptic assessment with completely perfect aroma and taste.

In Borges we are vertically integrated in the process of Sunflower. We provide the seeds of our own varieties to farmers, give them the expertise needed to produce them, and collect the harvest for later crushing them in our facilities for the production of crude oil we refine immediately afterwards so that it can become suitable for human consumption.

Borges balsamic vinegars are produced and packaged in our plant in Modena. They are obtained by maceration in wine barrels from Modena (Italy). This vinegar enhances the flavor of all meat and especially beef and duck; and is an excellent ingredient for vinaigrettes for smoked fish (trout, salmon, etc.).
