PALATINOL

PALATINOL® grades in coatings are used for nitro/alkyd systems and in acid curing and baking systems based on amino resins which need to be plasticized in order to ensure good film properties. PALATINOL® grades are colorless, clear, and practically anhydrous liquids with a hardly noticeable odor, soluble in usual organic solvents, and almost insoluble in water. Its applications include versatile low-viscosity plasticizers for PVC, good low-temperature performance, and low volatility, most suitable for higher temperature requirement applications, such as wire & cable and automotive interior trim due to its relatively low volatility. It also performs excellently in outdoor uses, such as roofing membranes and tarpaulins because of good weathering behavior.
