Acronal® S 589 is an eco-friendly aqueous dispersion of a styrene-acrylic copolymer, ideal for creating coatings with outstanding water resistance and effective blocking against nicotine and tannins. With an anionic dispersion type, this versatile product is well-suited for low-VOC sheen to semi-gloss paints, primers designed to block nicotine and tannins, and as a cobinder in silicate paints. Additionally, it proves valuable in damp-proofing wet rooms, where applying multiple layers of glass fiber and paint is recommended for achieving a fully water-tight seal. Acronal® S 589 sets a new standard for environmentally conscious coating solutions.
