Dispex® CX 4231 is an effective dispersing additive for inorganic fillers and pigments in exterior paints, gloss paints, and primers. Its pronounced hydrophobic character reduces snail trails and water uptake. This effective polymeric ammonium salt of a carboxylic acid copolymer is particularly effective for dispersing inorganic fillers and pigments in exterior paints, gloss paints, and primers, presented in yellowish liquid form.
