Joncryl® 611, an acrylic resin, serves as a modifying agent, particularly in flexo-applied NC formulations on PE for robust outdoor applications. This medium-hard acrylic resin is specifically compatible with NC resin and exhibits solubility in ketones, acetates, and alcohol/acetate blends. It enhances flexibility and has a positive impact on adhesion properties. Additionally, Joncryl® 611 demonstrates excellent pigment wetting capabilities. Notably, it is listed in Annex 6 of the official Swiss list for printing inks in contact with foodstuffs, dated November 25, 2009, listed under categories A and/or B.
